Today playing Muttrah around 5:30pm im on hotel roof with an Anti Tank kit, killed 2 APC's and still looking for more then out of the blue i am suddenly "teleported" to the carpark across the road near the water and suddenly falling from the same height as the hotel. I did not jump off the roof (obviously) because that carpark is approximately 50m away.

 

Im expecting to see a "Just bad luck mate" but still want to make it known in case more and more people start to have this happen to them.

 

Seriously , it stinks.

Got any more details what were you doing? What weapon did you have out? Were you moving or on the move? Did you jump or crouch? ETC ETC ETC

lol i have had this happen to me before, can't remember what map but i was healing some guy and we were both teleported to different sides of the complex we were in. I thought it was just a freak event lol

that has happened to me, i was on a smaller building on muttrah one round, teleported randomly and suddenly found myself falling out of the sky same height as the building, i died..

Yeah its happend to me on muttrah once before.

Snipeing on the hills, Shot once got teleported at the point i was aiming and fell from the exact height :/.

Tonnie and bahlye, those commands you are talking about put you straight up in the air, it doesn't move you a few hundred meters over that way. Quite different.

..heheh I know that Ancient..Fuzzhead has done it to me , but say per chance it was done to a person with a pilot kit , could they deploy the chute ?..(I doubt it but..).

 

i have had the teleport bug happen a few times, the most reported one is when you climb the ladder to the bunker on west beach on Al Jabal, and when you get to the top you end up on the ladder on the side of the building to the SThEast of the Al Jabal City cap.

 

Climb a little way down the ladder and you were back at West Beach ,and vice versa..

 

I haven't been able to do it lately though...last time was (iirc) during the 0.85 testing.
