BigD Guidelines
When playing on BigD servers, you have agreed to follow the rules set out on the BigD website. We expect all players to stick to a general set of basic decency guidelines.
Teamwork, Maturity and Fair play have been the foundations of BigD since the start. This Code of Conduct is based around those Principals.
Advertising in any form for clans, communities, websites, or any other individual/group is forbidden without the approval of a Community Manager.
Any discussion of bans, kicks or warnings are not to be discussed in-game, in public spaces or by private message to admins/moderators. We encourage users to open a ticket in Discord or via our website in order to resolve all grievances.
Impersonation of any BigD Admins, Managers, Moderators, Clan Members, or other affiliated individuals and groups is forbidden.
Gamertags must not have profanity, racism, slander or any words/phrases that may be seen as offensive. This includes abbreviations and replacing letters of an offensive word with symbols/numerals.
Excessive/targeted profanity in voip and text chat is not allowed.
Griefing, Spamming, Exploiting, Cheating, Racism, Sexism, Doxing, Hate Speech and Harassment are not tolerated on our servers.
Do not spam the !admin ping, if you do need to ping an admin, ensure you also include the reason within your !admin ping.
When streaming any BigD hosted games, it is recommended that you run a map overlay or delay.
Stream sniping is considered an exploit of the game and will be punished as such.
BigD is an inclusive place to everyone all over the world, from different origins, backgrounds, religions, ideologies and orientations, so at all times, players are expected to act with integrity and treat each other with respect. This is just a game and we encourage teamwork, communication, to play fair, encourage each other, help balance servers when needed, teach new players and to just have fun with it.
Intentional team killing is not tolerated. Accidents can happen, so ensure you apologize in all chat.
No Meta Gaming: This is when a player is using outside knowledge, tactics or exploits in order to gain an unfair advantage over other players and/or the game itself. e.g stream sniping, screen sharing or gaining knowledge from the opposite team.
If situations arise that cannot be resolved by the written rules or grey areas arise, admins reserve the right to make decisions in order to protect server health and player experience.
BigD servers are a place where all players can come to game, let out steam, relax, have fun and compete, without the fear of harassment or being in a toxic online environment.
This code of conduct is supported by the Anti-Harassment Guideline; Discord Guidelines and Individual Game Server Rules.
Server Rules
General
Squad names cannot contain profanity, racism, slander or any offensive wording, including abbreviations and replacing letters of an offensive word.
Squad Leaders must have a Squad Leader Kit, a working microphone and must speak/communicate in English.
Squad Leaders may kick players from the squad for any reason.
You must join/create a squad or you will be automatically kicked.
Do not create a squad unless you intend on leading it. (ie you create a squad and disband or hand over leadership).
Do not waste or misuse team assets, this includes but is not limited to:
Using Vehicles as one-way transports for yourself, ditching vehicles in non active areas or using helicopters to collide with vehicles, soldiers or infrastructure.
During staging phase, FCFS vehicle claiming applies without needing the correct crew. But once staging ends, only squads with the correct kit and crew size keep their claim.
After staging phase, vehicles are claimed by whoever has been waiting longer at main base, with the correct kit and crew size ready.
Squad's up to 4 are allowed to remain off the active capture points for the following reasons: Mortar Bases, Tow Bases, Logistics, Hunting FOBs/HABs, Disrupting Supply Lines or Running Armour.
Helicopters can only be operated by Squads of 4 and under.
Mechanised Squads and their supporting vehicles must play the active objectives if squad size is 5-9 (One APC/IFV per Mech Inf Squad).
A Tank squad requires all squad members (4 max.) to have crewman kit & operating in said tank.
Any vehicle requiring a Crewman kit must have 2 crewman.
Main Camping is not allowed and an exclusion zone of 400m or half way from main base to closest objective is in place. (Whichever comes first and is measured from main base flag e.g. if closest objective is 800m or over use the 400m rule, if it is under 800m use the half way rule).
You cannot go within, travel through, or fire into the enemies 400m or half way to closest objective main base exclusion zone. You also cannot fire out of your own teams exclusion zone, if you do then you can be engaged but not pursued.
During insurgency game mode adhere to the 400m or half way rule for the closes visible cache to both teams.
During Invasion main camping rules do not apply if the attackers have not capped the first point.
Seeding
When the SERVER is equal/below 50 players
During seeding do not move the default FOBS(Radio)/HABs location.
No additional FOBS(Radios)/HABS are to be placed during seeding.
Do NOT camp or takedown enemy FOBS(Radios)/HABs.

Request an Admin: Type !admin (your message) in all chat to ping an admin in game and in discord.
Request an Invite: Type !inv/!invite/!lfs/!look/!join followed by Squad number (e.g. !inv 1) in chat to request an invite from a Squad Leader.
Team Swapping: You can switch between teams by typing !Switch in chat. This action must be completed within the first 5 minutes of you joining the server can only be done once every 3 hours.
Stuck Soldier/Glitches: Are you stuck? Use !Runningman/Stuck/Bug to rectify any issues caused by the game loading, etc.
