ARK CLUSTER RULES

All BigD Guidelines and the WildCard PvE Rules apply.

By playing on ANY of our servers, you agree to the rules.

Our ARK specific rules are as follows:

CORE SERVER RULES

🔶 No picking up players without their consent

🔶 No begging other players for gear / dino's / items of requirement.

🔶 No playing 'Santa' giving new players bulk assistance / especially unwanted assistance is not allowed.

🔶 No PvP behavior of any kind (including indirect or “accidental” actions)

🔶 Be respectful. Harassment, abuse, or toxicity will not be tolerated

🔶 Teleporters must be set to public in PUBLIC areas. Private teleporters are fine in personal bases.

BUILDING & BASE RULES

🔶 No blocking key map features (obelisks, drops, caves, terminals, spawns) - All bases / large dinos obstructing these areas for access will be destroyed and NO refunds given.

🔶 No excessive pillar or land claiming

🔶 Do not build in a way that prevents others from playing the map

🔶 Abandoned bases and dinos may only be claimed once decay timers expire
👉 Our servers use an extended 6-week structure decay timer to support FIFO and long-shift players.

🔶 If any tribe member logs in, the decay timer resets

🔶 Bases do not begin decaying until ~42 days of total tribe inactivity (6 weeks)

🔶 Once decay begins, structures are eligible for removal - by any player

🔶 If you believe a base is bugging out or behaving incorrectly, please open a ticket.

🔶 Forcing decay through bypassing our rules or damaging property in any way to make it claimable, results in a permanent ban.

DINO & GAMEPLAY RULES

🔶 Only 20 dino's can be left out at a time. Dino's may be deleted after the first warning.

🔶No killing, luring, or trapping wild dinos to grief other players

🔶 No leading hostile dinos into player bases

🔶 No exploiting game mechanics, bugs, or unintended behaviour

🔶 No mesh abuse or glitching under any circumstances
🔶If dino eggs fall outside your base, they can be claimed by any player. If they are inside, they can not.

🔶 Dino traps must be removed after your dino has been tamed. Do not leave junk laying around.

🔶 Gacha limit: maximum 10 active Gachas per tribe

COMMUNITY & ADMIN INTERACTION

🔶 Admins are here to help and are volunteers, treat them with respect.

🔶 Do not message staff privately for server related issues.

🔶 Do not impersonate admins or staff

🔶 Follow admin instructions when given

🔶 Attempting to evade moderation or bans will result in a permanent ban

🔶Play fair, play friendly, and don’t ruin the experience for others

BIGD GUIDELINES

When playing on BigD servers, you have agreed to follow the rules set out on the BigD website. We expect all players to stick to a general set of basic decency guidelines.

Teamwork, Maturity and Fair play have been the foundations of BigD since the start. This Code of Conduct is based around those Principals. 

Prohibited Hate Symbols

It is a criminal offence under Australian Commonwealth Criminal Code to display a prohibited symbol.

Displaying any prohibited hate symbol, using a display name or communicating with any text that represents or promotes Nazi ideology, on a BigD Game Server or other BigD service will result in a permanent ban, with no appeal considered.

🔶 Advertising in any form for clans, communities, websites, or any other individual/group is forbidden without the approval of a Community Manager.

🔶 Any discussion of bans, kicks or warnings are not to be discussed in-game, in public spaces or by private message to admins/moderators. We encourage users to open a ticket in Discord or via our website in order to resolve all grievances.

🔶 Impersonation of any BigD Admins, Managers, Moderators, Clan Members, or other affiliated individuals and groups is forbidden.

🔶 Gamertags must not have profanity, racism, slander or any words/phrases that may be seen as offensive. This includes abbreviations and replacing letters of an offensive word with symbols/numerals.

🔶 Excessive/targeted profanity in discord and ingame text chat is not allowed. 

🔶 Griefing, Spamming, Exploiting, Cheating, Racism, Sexism, Doxing, Hate Speech and Harassment are not tolerated on our servers.

🔶 Do not spam the !admin ping, if you do need to ping an admin, ensure you also include the reason within your !admin ping.

🔶 When streaming any BigD hosted games, it is recommended that you run a map overlay or delay.

🔶 Stream sniping is considered an exploit of the game and will be punished as such.

🔶 BigD is an inclusive place to everyone all over the world, from different origins, backgrounds, religions, ideologies and orientations, so at all times, players are expected to act with integrity and treat each other with respect. This is just a game and we encourage teamwork, communication, to play fair, encourage each other, help balance servers when needed, teach new players and to just have fun with it.

🔶 Intentional team killing is not tolerated. Accidents can happen, so ensure you apologize in all chat.

🔶No Meta Gaming: This is when a player is using outside knowledge, tactics or exploits in order to gain an unfair advantage over other players and/or the game itself. e.g stream sniping, screen sharing or gaining knowledge from the opposite team.

🔶If situations arise that cannot be resolved by the written rules or grey areas arise, admins reserve the right to make decisions in order to protect server health and player experience.

BigD servers are a place where all players can come to game, let out steam, relax, have fun and compete, without the fear of harassment or being in a toxic online environment.
