Alright this is a game that I am organising for all the PR "veterans" out there. By veterans I mean players who have been around the forums for a long period of time.

 

You will be eligible to play in this night if you are a [WC] member or you will need to have joined the forums inthe YEAR 2007 or EARLIER

 

This is not a normal community night. The motif behind this night is for us WC guys to show you long time forum members who have seen bigD grow over time and experienced many releases of PR to relive some of the old experiences that you loved by getting you all together at one time for a good bit of fun.

 

The vets are people who have joined the forums in 2007 or earlier, people who have played earlier versions of PR and are craving for the days when they could get on the server have fun and not have to worry about their team trying to get a sniper/marksman kit and then having to walk everywhere because people take vehicles and dump them.

 

The whole idea of this night for the players not having to worry about people not playing by the expected level of maturity, its a night to hopefully get the players who have been around for a while an opportunity to play how they used to.

 

Now into the business end

 

The game will run a rotation of 2 maps, 2 rounds for each map, team swap after the round.

 

Map: Currently the maps will be Al Basrah and Qwai or Road to Kyongan ni, if you would like to suggest different map do so as nothing is final as of yet.

 

Date: Undecided as of yet but there are 3 options to vote on

Sat 12th, 19th or 26th

 

Teams: [WC] members will be evenly distributed amongst the two teams and will not be making clan squads.

Well seeing as I can count the number of people I originally played with back in "the day" on one hand. Not to mention if you look at the members list by join date you will see just how many of the old hands have moved on for reasons of there own. I think I'm more than eligible to play although I would prefer if we were to play some of the retro maps rather than just playing Al Basrah and Qwai or Road to Kyongan ni. BTW out of all the maps that are still in rotation I think you will find Ejod is actually the oldest. Anyway I will try my best to attend this once you finalise the night.

Yes.. I am in and would love to play an old retro map with all 64 players - Steel Thunder or Zatar Wetlands would be interesting.

Since I run my life less than 6 hours ahead at any one time, I will keep this in mind.

Haha guess what, I joined in 2007. Everyone always thinks I'm "the new guy" though. I count as a veteran ahaha.

Clan mates trying to get me to start playing ArmaII but I still love this mod , I'm up for it. Any sat is fine for me atm, as long as there is a bit of notice
