Installation for 0.8 here.

 

Do not run resolution at 800*600 - use 1024-768 as a minimum or your client will crash.

 

If you keep CTDing after install, delete the pb folder in your bf2 directory, download, install and run pbsetup.exe (download here). Run it again to be safe.

 

If using vista, make sure you run PR as an administrator.

    were corrupted, so to save me downloading 1.2gb again can someone please zip up the listed 3 files and upload them somewhere for me please?

    Bout 60mb each for the clients and about 1mb for the server. even if you can just provide one it helps.

     

    My isp doesn't do free downloads from their servers

    crappy NZ internet

    It happens I've yet to check but I reported similar issues that have being in the game for at least 4 patches now on another vehicle. Anyway its not a serious issue the aiming reticules are fine so it doesn't need a urgent fix.
