July 15, 200816 yr <--- Environmental and Planning Consultant (private company) Work is good and challenging, if a little boring at times. Writing DA reports for little jobs is pretty mind-numbing. Recent success = Dan Murphys approved in Dubvegas Edited July 15, 200816 yr by McCloud Where's the cheese? http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/2315/ubd4327.png
July 15, 200816 yr Software Engineer, currently working on electronic conveyancing. I like programming, I work with good people, yeah I enjoy my job.
July 15, 200816 yr I'm a laborer (transport etc)/surf bum for this year, was real keen to join Vic police when i left school, however it seems that force command don't like young white males who have just finished high school. The lack of life experience i can understand but when chic's the same age as me are getting in it sorta burns. anyways i passed (raped) the entry tests and after speaking to a few cops i knew decided to leave it for now and didn't hand in the the application paperwork. i work part time as a pizza chef at la porchetta as well, which isnt to bad, and im real keen for uni next year in melbourne. so yeah, i hate my primary job but it gives me enough money working a couple of days a week, and surf etc
July 15, 200816 yr Technical Consultant/Team Lead for HP. i dont like managing people.. i want to be their friends and it annoys me that i have to always manage people that are older than me that just dont seem to care.. +1 - I'm in the same boat. Young or old, some people just don't care. http://www.vrcombat.com/alive_footer_white_1.gif http://alivemod.com/img/alive_footer_logo1.pnghttp://alivemod.com/img/alive_footer_logo2.pnghttp://alivemod.com/img/alive_footer_logo3.png
July 15, 200816 yr System/Network Administrator for a Port in Nth Qld with approx 100 pc's (and users) running Citrix, GIS, Financial Systems and SQL Databases. Going through a "growth spurt" at the moment with extra staff ... and extra pc's. My favourite quote at the moment is "and you want that when!". Originally started as a tech 13 yrs ago and survived all the "staff cutbacks" (IT staff of 2) to today (IT staff of 6). I don't know if enjoy is the word I would use to describe my job now .... it was fun/enjoyable once but the more responsibility you get the less fun it is. I'm good at what I do and it pays the bills. So how do you become an expert suicide bomber? teabagging is for kids .... Real Men "Potato Sack".

July 15, 200816 yr I,m in geophysical survey and logging, we put a bunch of sensory equipement, including radioactive sources ,down drillholes in exploration sites for rio tinto and bhp. We do this to determine the size and parameters of ore bodies for the geologists. Always learning more about geology and geophysical forces and properties every day i,m at work, so its interesting which is a change from what i used to do. Its outside in some of the most spectacular scenery and landscapes you,d ever see,so i get plenty of sun and fresh air and i,m loving it at the moment!
July 15, 200816 yr I work for the local Council planting trees. I'm at home now for lunch. I live 200 metres from the depot. I often sleep during my lunch break in a nice park somewhere. Sometimes we don't work after lunch. We often have BBQ's for random reasons. I recently got paid 7 hours overtime, plus allowances, watering in the rain. 9 day fortnight too. My wife works as a Flight Attendant for Virgin so being so close to home allows me to look after the baby most of the time. So, basically, I'm a sometimes part-time/full-timevstay-at-home Dad with a full-time job. I love my job. It's nice having zero cares in the world. http://imgur.com/e5y6e.gif You've already ruined these forums for me, I have no desire to read your rhetoric or the pathetic arguments you get yourself in to, or the personal vendetta you have against me, so please, do not talk to me. Ever. About anything.

July 15, 200816 yr _f0r3st.au' date=' post: 83013"']I Love my job, Hate the repetition of cooking and also hate customers and the type of people the restaurant industry attracts. +1 but I'm a apprentice chef I will finally qualify in a couple of months and I really hate the place I'm working at right now because of the horrible double standards and politics. I can't explain it to people who aren't chefs very well but suffice to say a good kitchen crew is a happy mix of military rank & discipline with a good dash of pirate charm. You can have a incredibly good time in a kitchen without dropping your standards of work but the kitchen I'm currently in certainly isn't like that. Most of you already know I intend on leaving the industry after I qualify and I'm looking at going into Health & Safety since I'm bit of a common sense nazi. July 15, 200816 yr I service Radiotherapy machines (cancer zappers). Interesting job that I enjoy mostly. Lots of waiting for **** to happen, but when it happens have to move quickly to fix the problem. Can be high pressure due to machines must be running as patients can't stop their treatment course for more than a few days. (treatment course usually 4 weeks). [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
