I've just being playing a game with one of the GSA admins its called Combat Arms, its completely free to download and play. Its produced by a company called Nexon some of you might know them from Maple Story another free to download and play game. Character Customization

You'll also be able to easily find matches with other player clans through our Clan Match system, and battle to become the top mercenary outfit!

COMBAT ARMS is a live, constantly evolving game. Every month will bring new weapons and gear, new game modes, and new maps. Any good? Community mature or mostly kids? Worth the download? Any Aus/NZ servers?

There are no Australia / Newzealand servers there all USA based however as eXtila has already said.

 

It's hard to explain how they have it set up until you see it for yourself. The servers are all hosted in the U.S, but, you don't experience lag in the game. The network architecture in the game is incredible.

 

When you log in, you choose from a series of servers, all are the same, once you click a server, you pick a room, all the same, then inside the room are player hosted games, you pick a game, or start your own. Lots of maps, most customisable FPS I have seen (Customise both your player with different camouflage, hats, sunnies, boots, whatever and also weapons, scopes, silencers, extended magazines all sorts).

 

Game is designed to run on lower end systems, which is very hard to believe when you get into game and see the graphics and smoothness of the game. The developer (Nexon) absolutely nailed it on the head, this game is everything I've wanted in a FPS (And I'm an avid FPS'er with not many titles I haven't played).

 

10/10 easy.

 

It gets the same 10/10 from me its a great game only 400mb free to play and looks great it reminds me allot of a game I used to play called Urban Terror. Plays similar to COD4 but without the BS perks and seriously 400mb and free to play.

Definitly going to give this a shot just because I saw a Steyr + chest rig customiszing I mean OMG! Hopefully Aus cam is amongst it!

Guys download it from the GSA files http://mirror.gamingsa.com/public/CombatArms/CombatArmsSetup.exe Slavak has just downloaded it twice and is having trouble with the install we think its because he somehow has uninstall internet explorer. ?_? Anyway I downloaded it from the GSA link and it worked fine for me and I was just playing got a 6 to 1 kill ratio its pretty dam easy if your used to leading targets in BF2.

Customising kits and weapons is fun,getting slaughtered by people who have got the points to get the good gear ...a learning experience....

 

PR tactics work well in it,but I have seen tactics used maybe once or twice , no one ever seems to support each other much...rest of the time its all about looking after your own arse..and running and gunning.

 

Not saying its not fun,cos it is,and hell its free.....

 

But sigh.."JUST ANOTHER SPAMMY FPS.."

Seriously this game is so EASY I just got a 73 - 10 kill to death I literally ran circles around a number of players they cannot hit me. Just deck yourself out with a sniper, automatic scoped assault rifle, automatic shotgun, pistol, heavy armour, helmet & upgrade back up and BOOOM its on. Ohh and Madhouse I won Jospeh left the game after your last round after having a big whinge about how I'm a red neck and live on a farm because I told him to Neck Up.

Yeah, I just played for a few hours. Get up in peoples faces and it's freaking easy as. Circle strafing will keep you alive forever and pistol shots to the face rape everything. fun while it lasted though.

The website looks to have some, looks like a cross between nilla and CS. so graphics aren't bad.

Well... its not PR, didn't expect it to be. It is a nice side-game to take your mid off PR and is rather easy to kill the others, between me and vis runing around topgether lastnight, most of the other players hadly got a kill, me had the majorty of the kills, generally 30 each compared to 5 each for the others.

 

I'd recoomend it for some fun, not to play forever, though me and vis are planig on startig up our ow little team inside the game so we ca stick together.

Just came out of a spam fight....Fun in moderation. It's ashame its a game which can get tiring easily, simply because everyone can have a sniper rifle, and then those that do, well, say hello to a raping. They probably aren't really needed.

mmmmm. Sniper Rifle fail. you have to aim to 1 one billionth of a second with the sniper to get a 1 shot kill
