takes me back... still got the CD's somewhere but wouldn't have a clue where. Probably wouldn't run without some elaborate emulator, i've tried to install Red Alert a while back but it runs waayy too fast on the slowest setting to be playable

 

i remember building silo chains to get to build in other areas (or was that for red alert) when ever i got a Civvy/Techy i'd just send them to a random corner of the map to explore

Freaken sweet game used to own it was goddam annoying some times when you died because you couldn't see the incoming bullets.

 

Anyway I know steam has a few oldschool games that have being reworked to play on new machines and theres always Dosbox which is something akin to a emulator.

HAHAHAHAHA man that brought me back aaages ago, I remember doing that by selling expensive structures just to get the technicians lol

 

Who else remembered that old end of mission music, so damn funky! I played Tiberian Sun for ages aswell loved those old westwood days

Tiberian sun was my personal favourite of the entire CNC / RA series so far but I know allot of people didn't like it that much. I just loved turning of your firewall fences or laser fences waiting for a enemy rush to walk straight into them.

and the enemy bots on a skirmish would always be stupid enough to fly straight through a firewall lol

For your information guys, the Original Command & Conquer (which was my first REAL game) has been Freeware for some time. I think you can get it somewhere on the net. I only found out becuase it was included in PC Power Play one month, I'II try and find the site for whoever wants it.....

cool post the link Luther_Crom I had one of the disc from the free power play but not the second

K found it on Filefront, pretty easy. You're gonna need to burn this to a disc to play though as it's an annoying ISO file (or something like that), have fun!

Now from what I know, EA made a 'patch' for the Gold Edition so it can be played on Windows XP. The side effect however is to remove the LAN capabilities in multiplayer which is quite annoying. I haven't tried the game without the patch so it might work anyway.....
