Rules: You will find yourself warned and removed from the game if your caught, intentionally team killing, insulting other players and of course banned if your caught cheating. Remember we hold these events so that we can all have a good time and such a high level of team work is expected. These events are about winning as a team and not getting the highest individual score.

This Saturday sees the return of our celebrated Community Member Skirmishes and to dust of the cobwebs we will be having 2 rounds on 16 player Fools Road. Everyone is welcome as always but as your already know were a little tighter on the rules and any blatantly disruptive game play will see you removed. That said I can't wait to see everyone there on the night with some good Squad / Commander & Team communication. We like to treat these as serious matches with winners getting bragging rights. Ohh and last but not least there is a AWARD to be given out but you might not want it. Who gets it you ask well that's simple its either the person who winge's the most as voted by his peers or the first one to RAGE QUIT so if you want it know you know how to get it.

 

That's about it last thing I have to say is for all your Clanners this is a great time to get your teams in to form some squads. That said the admin team will obviously have to even the teams skill wise if a there any serious clan stacking.

 

Last thing to be said is all feed back is welcome so have your say guys and help use help you have a better time.

Just wondering why you've choosen Fools Road again after the problems in lastweeks bD/WC vs community skirmish? so many had trouble just moving, let alone hitting a target :S

Sorry I wasn't aware of the issue was it played on the 16 player version or the 32 / 64 ? We can easily change the map if that is the case I'll look into it and make the change if necessary tomorrow. I appreciate any feed back I can get on how peoples computers fair up against the 16 player map.

16p will be interesting, played it once before, and it certainly needs some good teamwork to win, which these nights hopefully should fill.

 

Turn down your settings if it's really that bad. And if it's still that bad, well that sucks.

 

Previous night was on 64p, since there is no 32p...

I have a hard time (as most others do) on the 64p fools rd.

but i think the 16p is a little more pc friendly.

WHEEEELY looking forward to this, should be a great session.

It's a forum members night. You just rock up using the password given which will be shown on the main page. ie, http://www.bigdgaming.net , right where the picture is (no it's not their now, will be given closer to the night).

 

If I hear one person asking for the password on the night, I will personally make you wish you didn't ask. Do us ALL a favour, and take 3 seconds to load up the main page, and read the password. For others, don't give ANYONE the password, they can find it for themselves. I am just pissed when you are trying to organise stuff in TS, it's just spammed with people asking for the password. LEARN TO READ!

Yeah sorry about that Shotgun as I had previously mentioned allot of these events are based around my real life commitments mainly what day's I have off work. As well as any number of other issues such as server and admin team availability up until now that has meant we usually play on Friday nights.

 

However that said you can always try to organise your own nights both as just general meetings like Smoke Jumper sometimes does or have a go at organising a community night yourself. No one of the Admin team will say no to you having a crack at it. That said it obviously needs at least one Admin who can configure the server on board to set the game up on the night. Other than that the prospects are almost endless.

easily fixed, add ur name to a list and then PM every1 the pass word 3 hours b4 game time, so people who just look on the forums and dont acctually join them will not find out how to join and this will also stop people distrabuting the pass word as if people want it they should get it as they log onto the site , maybe make it 1 and a half hour b4 the game idk, i just think posting the password on the main page is a bit silly

Have you ever tried mass PM-ing using this system its a total arse of a job no thank you they can just come to the site since HALF of you seem to be incapable of even doing that. Let alone actually logging in and reading a PM which would take me some 30 odd mins to post out.

i am soooo freakn there.

Also Shotgun, If anyone saw that there was a members night on and wanted to get the p/w they couldn't.

 

The idea isn't to exclude anyone, it's to bring ppl to the forums/community and get them involved

which should hopefully make them more of a team/community orientated player

(with all the info we have on the forums)

and also enrich the community with fresh blood.

 

Apart from all the time it takes to mass pm ppl it's not like anyone gets thanked for doing such a job.
