Posted February 1, 200817 yr Coming back from a long well deserved holiday, I decided to get back to work, comiking. Loosely set abouts in World War one (don't want to explicitly label any sides or battles..), this is the beginning 2 pages of a roughly 23 page one-off story about a soldier who due to unforseen circumstances, is given the chance to go home. On foot. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/SirChuc/storyboard12.jpg This is the storyboard, not the final pencils. http://i.imgur.com/wofKY.jpg Portfolio Site http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/OperationCrownRibbon02.jpghttp://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/opagamaserv.jpg

April 23, 200816 yr The colours look good and it does have that dirty old feel about it but here's a little friendly criticism. What's the deal with the autonomy its not up to your usual standard or are you trying something different ? The only other thing that seems amiss is the amount of trees in no man's land for the most part the old photos and footage of the time show little more than craters and mud. http://docsouth.unc.edu/wwi/fletcher/f113p93.jpg That aside as always mate your doing a top job and I can't wait to see the final product. http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa188/VisOne_Photo/Signatures%20and%20Banners/VisP.png
April 23, 200816 yr Nice man . The faces look a little weird, but I can't really criticize since I totally can't match that skill . http://www.ancientdev.com/images/devsig.png

Depends on where you fight, that pic you posted is probably the remains of an open field, I have seen many pics of stretches of no man's land where it looks just like Chuc has drawn, the twisted remains of a wooded area.
April 23, 200816 yr Jesus. Christ. Nice work man, that looks outstanding. I wish I could draw like that (read: at all!)
