Accuracy the difference between killing and getting killed.

 

My overall accuracy is POOR 3.009%

 

My best weapon accuracy is with the trusty knife with 76.3% at 60 kills 11 deaths and a ratio of 5.45.

The only stats I really look at are the 'time' stats. And even then it was just once. I don't think the accuracy stats in PR are very accurate - I know I tend to put down a lot of supressing fire for my squad.

 

I know I'm not going to hit the enemy, but i'm firing in their general direction to keep their heads down. I reckon my ratio of suppressive fire : aimed shots is up there in the 10 : 1 area. I also know I'm not alone in the employment of this tactic, and thus feel the only stats truly reflective of someone's playing style is the 'time' stats.

 

And even then the numbers are only part of the picture....

I'm not sure if this sounds reasonable or not... 90% of the time I ONLY fire when I see an enemy and don't shoot in the air for fun. And I'm not THAT bad of a shot..at least I hope not <.<

I have some how managed to keep my assault rifle accuracy above 25% playing with a ping of 200+ for the last few months, not that I have been able to play a lot. So frustrating when you see 5 blood splats off your running enemy and then be shot with one bullet you dont see being fired or even hear. :?

My highest is AT/AA - 87.5% hell yeah!!

 

I think the overall accuracy is not calculated properly mine reads 6.259% but when you mouse over it it comes up with 438 shots and 102 hits which equals 102/438 which comes to about 23.287% average accuracy. Thats seems about right as I am a good shot but I tend to use a fair bit of covering and suppressing fire.

I might be wrong but I think the number of deaths is calculated differently.

Say my Light Machine Guns

Kills is 44

Deaths is 21

 

That means I've killed 44 times with a LMG

but it doesn't mean I have been killed 21 times by a person with a LMG, but I've been killed 21 times while holding my LMG. Does that make any sense?

 

If you look at my Grenade Launcher Attachment it shows only 2 kills and 1 death. I am pretty sure I have been noob tubed many times yet it only shows 1 death.

 

By the way, my most accurate weapon is the Grenade Launcher, at 100% lol

Yeah the kills and deaths are while using that particular weapon it doesn't matter what you get killed by.

 

Eg. Assault Rifle: Kills - 257 Deaths - 123

Means you have made 257 kills with an assault rifle and died 123 times in various ways while you had the assault rifle equipped in your hands.

I sometimes get the same thing but my ping hovers around 25. It seems to happen most often with a Brit rifle or M16 and almost always at close to medium range.

 

As for stats, I only look at them when someone brings them up in a topic like this or KllrKirk's. What you are killed by, when infantry in particular, would be a great stat as a lot of kills could be considered easy, ie. death by tank, APC, grenade, LAT, HAT, jet and attack chopper.

A little insight guys most of the times the stats are one way or another F****D because some kits aren't what you think they are and so fourth and so on. The only really things you can count on are timed played, as squad leader, commander and squad member the rest is all pretty vague and misleading most of the time. Besides no one gives a royal brass rarse as to what your stats are and who whacked who the most times on the balls with what.
