Man the people that post comments on youtube are idiots it takes more balls to bungee jump then free fall from space ? WTF any idiot can go bungee jumping you can't compare something as common as that to parachuting from space. Either way has got to be cool hes probably the only man ever to truly feel like he was in purgatory.

    I think they were pointing to relevence to the ground. When you bungy jump, you can see the ground, your body can judge how far it is and you *know* that jumping off isn't natural.

     

    Free-falling from space you have no bearing and standard to judge the distance and so it *may* not be as scary in some peoples minds.

     

    For example, my Dad is terrified of heights, at 10m he cannot look down but when he's in a plane at 40000', he's fine even if he can see the ground because it has no relevace to him if you catch my drift.

     

    On a side note, I really want to go bungy jumping. My mum asked me if a sky-diving ticket would be an appropriate gift for my birthday. My reply; Hell yes!

    Seeing the ground is irrelevant free falling from outer space still takes way more cahoony's then bungee jumping. Also may well be one of the best ways to go considering in theory you might have time to write a will. ark kakakakaka :lol:
