Posted May 14, 200717 yr What are you listening to? Let's see what the musical tastes of the community are like. At the moment, I'm listening to a lot of Prokofiev, Cornelius, Aphex Twin, Sage Francis and Interpol's Antics. Why Prokofiev? Peter and the Wolf! Some of you may even have heard that I'm trying to play it on my little harmonica. I'm not doing too badly actually. Also for those who are interested, the music that plays while Al Basrah loads is by Aphex Twin; it's called Polynomial-C . "We play Wagner - scares the hell outta them!"

May 17, 200717 yr Author I journeyed down to the Corner Hotel last night for some fun pub music. The Howling Bells were headlining and I do enjoy their music, but I went to see The Whiskey Go Gos linky linky If you get a chance to see them play, go! They're an excellent sort of folk rock band with a crazy percussionist called Mr. Pebbles. I saw them down at the Apollo Bay music festival a month or two back and had a ball. See them, hear them, just make sure you enjoy them! "We play Wagner - scares the hell outta them!"
