Insurgent Cell Leader Snatch and Grab

Time: 2030 (AEST) NZ 2230 NSW,VIC,ACT, QLD& TAS 2030 SA 2000 WA 1730

Server: GamingAU - BigD PR 0.917 #2

Players: 64 players

Rules:

Standard Server Rules apply..

It is also imperative that you familiarise yourself with the scenario rules. Players acting outside the spirit of the night may be removed from the game without warning. This is a trial of a more complex community night - the level of success will determine what type of future events are run.

Situation:

Our AO for this night is Lashkar Valley.

Intel says that a known Taliban warlord is in the area teaching the local Taliban about the use of IED's, The British job is to take him in, alive. Also in the area are another 2 known Taliban leaders, these must also be captured for interrogation.

Mission:

Brit's

  • Major Victory: Capture all three Insurgent leaders and bring them in alive, and defend them successfully for 10 Minutes to simulate helicopter extract.
  • Minor Victory: Capture one or two insurgent leaders alive

Taliban:

  • Major Victory: Defend all three insurgent leaders
  • Minor Victory: Lose one or two leaders

Alternate:

  • If all insurgent leaders die, then the British must destroy all caches left in the valley.

Execution:

At the start of the round a 10-min ceasefire will be called. During this time the British must Build a suitable FOB not to far away from the Main base in which to hold the discovered Insurgent Leaders.

The three insurgent leaders must drive to, and receive a Pilot-kit from the British base, then they can leave and hide. They will each have their own personal defense detail to be organised by the team.

After the 10 min waiting period (or the time at which both sides begin the round has begun) the game begins.

There will be civilians roaming the countryside and must listen to and obey British instructions otherwise they will be arrested for assisting the Taliban. Civs roaming the streets, are they good or bad? Talk to the civs to try and get them to tell you where the leaders are. Civilians must not be killed unless you are faced with a life threatening situation.

Once the leader is located he must be delivered back to a pre-designated extraction point (EP). This can be done in any multitude of ways that is deemed necessary by the British, whether that may be collaborate with a civilian and request they drive him there under Armour escort guard, or hike it all the way back.

The British have the option of setting up FOB's around the place at key intersections to intercept Insurgent movements. These can also be used to imprison Civilians and other Insurgents. These make-shift jails can also be used to imprison discovered insurgents by making them select 'no-kit'. However, no-one can be held longer than 5mins.

  • Insurgent leaders must always follow the orders of the British once their bodyguard detail has been eliminated or nullified. If in a firefight, they must stay where they are and lay down, unless asked to move by a British solider.
  • NO-ONE is to CAMP or to SHOOT DIRECTLY after the 10-min ceasefire is over. IE. No waiting with an RPG lined up at a car etc. Be realistic. For this purpose, the ONLY people to be moving around are civilians. All insurgents must be with their respective leaders in their chosen defensive positions, and all British must be at the main ready, and waiting to move out.
  • If British armour is destroyed it cannot be brought back. All armour has a One-time use only.
  • British may only destroy 5 Caches (unless all insergent leaders die in which case the game resumes as par normal and the rest of the caches must be destroyed)
  • Upon death of a Taliban Leader, whether accidental or not, Insurgents must let the British know. The Taliban Leader then respawns as General Infantry.
  • 3 insurgent leaders and 6 civilian slots will be available - Scenario coordinator (Chan will decide who fills the key roles of Taliban Leaders).
  • Once all leaders have been captured, then the British should notify an admin, then the admin can make a global message that 'The leaders are captured; rescue them before the chopper arrives' (Ten minutes)
  • Taliban leaders can never be kept in the same area.

Administration:

Standard and Squad Selectable Kit layouts should be utilised.

Commands:

We encourage the use of Mumble on this night.

After that night I started peeing out the window to avoid going down the hallway when it was dark.
Taliban leaders can never be kept in the same area.

Just take note, this means they can't be in the same area when hiding from the Brits. If, once captured, the Brits wish to walk them to the jail at the same time, thats ok. Also, this doesn't apply to the jail (EP). They must be kept there, so therefore, msut be close together. Also. I will try to check on the map sometime tonight where the extent of the out of bounds is for the insurgents, and then bring up a map showing where this area is. I will highlight areas where firebases can be placed, and where the Insurgent leaders must meet to get the pilot kits. 3 British troops will go and meet them there to drop them their pilot kits.

That is all for now :p

ps. If anyone else wants to be awesome for me and go get the map and draw on the extent of the out of bounds area, please do, I'm very busy with school atm. I would <3 long time. :hi: (DONE: Thanks Vapoman)

EDIT:

Okay. The below map shows the location that the pilots must meet with the 3 British troops to get their pilot kits.

The below image shows the band in which the British firebase must be made in which to keep the Taliban Insurgent leaders. All FOBs are ALWAYS attackable. As is the main.

This is what the insergent leaders will look like: http://i681.photobucket.com/albums/vv178/vapoman/lashkar%20valley%20community%20night/lashkar06.jpg

This is what the insergents Civilians will look like: (They will have to select "no-kit")

The white jeeps travelling around the map are to be driven by civilians. Please try to refrain from shooting them. (However if there are insurgents in them, by all means, engage)
