Right click desktop -> View -> Small Icons Next go to Properties of start menu -> Taskbar tab -> Use Small Icons, Taskbar buttons Never combine -> customize notification area = Always show all icons. For the drivers, go to your motherboard manufacturer's website and download the windows 7 x64 suite of drivers for your hardware. Don't forget your ATI/Nvidia drivers as well from their respective sites. http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee94/psyrus_uraya/awards-1.png QFT: Your computer is smart man. May 16, 201014 yr Author Where does WIN 7 tell you its downloading/downloaded or installed drivers for your hardware? I'm know about the Windows updates it tells you about them and windows software but nothing about hardware. http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa188/VisOne_Photo/Signatures%20and%20Banners/VisP.png
May 16, 201014 yr It uses generic drivers unless you overwrite them with the manufacturer ones afaik. If it's a gigabyte board, go here If it's an asus board, go here If it's something else, google the name + drivers http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee94/psyrus_uraya/awards-1.png QFT: Your computer is smart man. May 17, 201014 yr This tool: System Information for Windows (SIW) http://www.gtopala.com/ is brilliant at identifying all your system bits and bobs in a coherent and transparent manner freeware for personal use if it helps (edit) p.s. only 2.3 megabytes... not bloated like many similar apps Edited May 17, 201014 yr by mandatory05 "When you have to kill a man, it costs nothing to be polite." - Winston Churchill
