May 9, 201014 yr Author No sorry xabu we are not a commercial field everything is run on a volunteer basis, money goes towards, tagger upkeep which Fragtag has sponsored to VLSA, Insurace and Field Hire. Anything extra goes back into VLSA for future games, props and making events bigger and better etc VLSA is non for profit. None of the money goes into our pockets, we run the VLSA so we can play combat sims and skirmish with out having to go commercial with high running cost etc. So on that note we dont have cams to hire out because we dont own any cams (but it maybe something we can look at in the future). Although one of our members does have a big range of cams he lends out, but its a first in first served basis. So I reccomend bringing some sort of long pants (not jeans) anything toned down like OD or tan or brown etc. Covered shoes, Boots are the best. Will send out a details email this week regarding Saturday Session Edited May 9, 201014 yr by soulnsurf

May 9, 201014 yr Author just a bit to far for a day trip Hey JL we will be probably be running some 24Hour+ Sessions sometime over the remainder of the year, We will be making sure people have enough notice to organise themselves. Usually these 24Hours session are a combat sims sessions, so you hump your gear into the field, setup camp, run day and night piquets and complete objectives so of like a mini Lazer Storm

May 17, 201014 yr Author And smoov, i think my bank account will hate you for introducing me to another potentially expensive hobby! Heheh my pleasure Would like to thank AntarticTheFox and your crew from coming down from wangaratta Also like to thank Xaboo and your mate Reinar for heading down Was good to play along you guys and you all took orders well and were great team mates We did well with the scenarios during the morning and the com sims session definitely got interesting towards the end I think AntarticTheFox put it well definitely felt like the real army with all the constant changes on Grid References just to complete second phase objectives. So hopefully we can get you back for the next session in July, With more sessions under your belt you will get a better feel for it all PICS Me allocating weapons http://www.djdrthq.com/images/vlsa150510%201.jpg Darse explaining Blue teams mission http://www.djdrthq.com/images/vlsa150510%203.jpg ReconAus dressing his mistress the M200 http://www.djdrthq.com/images/vlsa150510%204.jpg Red Team FUP http://www.djdrthq.com/images/vlsa150510%206.jpg Me trying to work the POS radio http://www.fragtag.com.au/images_upload/DSC05816.jpg ReconAus trying to look badass with the M200 but failing http://www.fragtag.com.au/images_upload/DSC05817.jpg Xaboo & Reinar as close protection team for the VIP (whose taking the photo) http://www.fragtag.com.au/images_upload/DSC05822.jpg My Scary SAW Gunner http://www.fragtag.com.au/images_upload/DSC05826.jpg A bit of the Arsenal - Fox is 2nd on the right http://www.fragtag.com.au/images_upload/DSC05837.jpg Xaboo covering our right flank, did well too http://www.fragtag.com.au/images_upload/DSC05843.jpg Edited May 17, 201014 yr by soulnsurf
May 17, 201014 yr And smoov, i think my bank account will hate you for introducing me to another potentially expensive hobby! Nah its not expensive at all! Says the guy who is waiting for his $300 order of milsim gear to come in from Hong Kong. http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa188/VisOne_Photo/Signatures%20and%20Banners/VisP.png
May 17, 201014 yr Fox = 2nd on the right in the Armory pic ;3 The day was absolutely insane though, I'll be hitting these up whenever I can now that I've got a taste of it. On a side note, that SAW really wears on your arms after lugging it about for 4 hours. Totally worth it though. "...And so then I says! 'I caught me a kangaroo!'"
