Im not sure if this is new or if ive just never seen it before, but you can actually change the background picture in PR.

 

It can be simply done by clicking in the top right hand corner of the screen while in the main menu.

This may seem a little boring but its quite a discovery for me.

Christmas overlay is a bit dodgy, have to fix it up for 0.9, you can see the overlay still stays on the login screen and on those easter egg backgrounds :p.

 

Christmas overlay is for everyone ;).

    After that night I started peeing out the window to avoid going down the hallway when it was dark.
    my god the christmas overlay is driving me up the wall...took me THREE minutes to launch PR, black screen with only the cursor, had to delete all my profiles then retrieve dtacs just so I could play again, all thanks to this stupid overlay....
    Gee, I won't bother then next time, just for you dtacs... Just so you can get into PR a massive 3 minutes quicker...

    No offense, but I don't really want to launch PR three minutes earlier just to see some random snow in front of the background picture.

     

    It could be due to me being capped, and it having to download it or something.

     

    Seriously I just don't think its worth it, sure it christmas but the santa hats on the soldiers in sigs and the christmas lights bordering them is enough in my opinion.

    It's a 160kb image. If that is too much for you to download, god knows how you'd be able to play PR...

    Is there any way to remove it? Sorry I'd just rather a faster PR then a cheap grey overlay.
