Have you posted this to whirlpool as well? It's always a good place to ask questions about computers, their prices and what's good at the moment. Tends to be where all the IT chaps hang out at work while they're waiting for someone who needs to have their computer restarted.

Thats what I used to build my PC about 8 months ago, really fast delivery (took like 2 days), comes assembled, just pick parts from a drop down list - easy.

(Under the System's tab choose either pre-assembled/customised Intel/AMD)

Im guessing this is to be purchased with birthday money?

I built a mates pc VERY similar to this one and it turned out great:

Antec 900 Case

i5 720 CPU @ 2.66MHz

Gigabyte Mobo

3 x 2GB DDR3 1600MHz Ram

Gigabyte GTX 275 896MB

1TB Seagate Sata HDD

Thermaltake 650W EVO Blue Gaming

Runs Windows 7 64 bit with not one compatibility issue in a range of games.

@ TYLA

I personally wouldnt go with SLI if you dont know enough to build the PC. There are plenty of cheaper single card options that run any game currently out, Not to mention the next generation nvidia & ATI cards coming out sometime soon.

PM Bohica from =]DI[= ...owns his own shop and builds the pc's for our clan at cost price..he can deliver the pc...is a gamer so he knows what we want...and is a top bloke.

Hope that helps.

oh lol he actualy followed through with making the thread :p

@tyla as kush said i might stay away from SLI just for the moment, im no wiz when it comes to hardware/software.

@kush LOL what am i 12? no no this is money from 4 weeks of hard work behind the bar :) + some left over money i had from the army. but i do like those specs :) and yer this pc will be mainly used for 3d rendering, arma2, gaming in general, photoshoping and alot of graphic work. also i plan to go straight into windows 7 64bit :)

what im really looking for is all this stuff (everything id need to run the pc pretty much) all on one site, where if needed i can order it all (in bulk allinone order) and within a few days at my door, if they can put it together for me then great, if not then i know people who can :), also need this for price checks as i got a local guy who ill be talking to soon to see if he can match the prices online, since it would be better as then it can just take it to him when it stuffs up for next to nothing costs.

EDIT: also im not in brissy or any large town, largest city near me is Rockhampton (im in Yeppoon) in central qld. so would need somewhere that can post to there.

Cheers all for the help :)

Do you really want an i7? or is that just an option because I got all this

Processor:AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2GHz

Memory: 4GB RAM

Video Card: Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD 4890

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P

Computer Case: Antec 900

for just under a grand and it does 3d rendering and can handle photoshop and all games but I'm just say if you want to spend a lot of money to get very best make sure you do the research as well and make sure you want it.

My bro recently brought his new PC as well cost him about 4 grand for the best (screen, mouse, comp, keyboard and all) and afterwords he was a bit pissed off that he had just spent 4 grand.

Any way for the best prices possible I recommend

http://www.staticice.com.au it will find it

and http://www.msy.com.au/ because 80% of the time their the cheapest

I wouldn't recommend 1600MHz unless he is OCing voltages. Which I highly doubt.

1333Mhz will get the job done fine.

Yeah I know ;)

MSY was out of stock of 1333 and I got 1600 for half price due to my underground contacts.
