Posted September 17, 200915 yr Has anyone had anything to do with .DDS Convertors before? I need to covert my Men of War minimap into a .DDS file so it will work ingame and I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it. http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa188/VisOne_Photo/Signatures%20and%20Banners/VisP.png

September 17, 200915 yr http://developer.download.nvidia.com/tools/texturetools/Photoshop_Plugins_8.23.1101.1715.exe Usual formats are DXT1 with no alpha for things without an alpha channel (transparency, check your channels), DXT5 for things with an alpha channel. Use mipmaps for things that are used in 3D (Textures), no mipmaps for things that are 2D (HUD/Menu elements, etc). http://www.ancientdev.com/images/devsig.png
September 17, 200915 yr Author I use Macromedia Fireworks 8 and the plugin does not want to work for it. Although usually you can use virtually any Photoshop plugin with Fireworks. This is what I need to convert. http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa188/VisOne_Photo/Screen%20Shots/VisOne.jpg EDIT: Thanks Ancientman helped me out with my tech inept again. Edited September 17, 200915 yr by chambersAUS http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa188/VisOne_Photo/Signatures%20and%20Banners/VisP.png
