Posted September 9, 200915 yr I have this Razer Lycosa keyboard that I picked up the other day. There are a few things that I just can't tell if they're options or serious bugs. Would someone with the same board please shed some light: 1. Playing BF2, if you join or create a squad the Enter menu defaults to the 'Squads' tab, if you want to switch back to the player list you just hit the first tab. However now that I have the Lycosa I can't use my mouse on any of the Enter menu items. I can select a weapon but that is all. When I'm commander I can't right mouse click to place arty, spot or do any basic functions. 2. You can toggle off the lighting beneath the keys to either WASD, All or nothing. Sometimes I really have to beat the shiznit out of the keyboard to get it to toggle the lights, the 'Touch' pad they offer seems more like a smash pad for me otherwise I can't get the keys to work. Can anyone with this board tell me if they experience the same stuff? http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/315/spitfire5.png
September 9, 200915 yr "Smash pad" lol. I used to have a razer mouse because I got sucked into the whole "for gamers, by gamers" BS that they use as their motto. It sucked, uncomfortable, buggy software package, broke 2 weeks out of warranty. I use all Logitech peripherals now and I'm 100% happy with them all, Logitech FTW! September 9, 200915 yr Right here is the first question of what I think will be many. Have you installed any software/drivers that comes with this device? It says it has drivers that go with it and I think you will find they are the reason your having some problems. The best course of action is to look into what they are doing or are meant to do and see if your conflict is with them. I would also suggest you just use the keyboard without them. I have found that unless your playing a seriously intense MMORPG or something to that effect all the extra buttons are eye candy and bloody useless. However you might play differently to me and that is your call. http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa188/VisOne_Photo/Signatures%20and%20Banners/VisP.png

September 9, 200915 yr Author Drivers are most definitely installed, and at the latest available. One thing drivers won't fix are the sticky buttons that I really have to press hard to register and the design is terribly uncomfortable. I'll get myself a Logitech next, but my $30 MS keyboard that lasted me 5 years is looking like the way to go, simple and sweet. This is now less of a help thread, and more of a listen to Skandia complain about his expensive investment into a POS keyboard. http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/315/spitfire5.png
September 10, 200915 yr don't think you can take something back because it doesn't work with one game.... (unless you bought it from a store like Dick Smith who have a no questions return policy for a short period). Interesting that a google search worldwide (http://www.google.com.au/#hl=en&q=razer+Lycosa+keyboard+%2Bbf2&meta=&fp=1d44341b923fac39) has this thread in #2 position - something worth considering when giving a such a frank review of a product http://i783.photobucket.com/albums/yy116/IINoddyII/aux1_zpsab5224fd.png

Few. If any are ever worthy enough to master. The cowbell.
September 10, 200915 yr Man, when I bought my G15 I had to work in the WASD keys. Major pain in the ***. but I second you, Logitech ftw. I now understand how bad it was, i had a nice keyboard then i got one and woah =D getting mad for peoples amusement
September 10, 200915 yr Author If I was trawling the net for reviews of a product that I was considering buying I'd appreciate someone's honest opinion. If they couldn't spell and sounded like a 10yr old who didn't get the Christmas present he was looking for I wouldn't take notice, however the product in my eyes is genuinely terrible for the price you pay. But it's ok, to make myself feel better I purchased a Zalman Reserator to keep mah PC cool in the Brisbane summer. http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/315/spitfire5.png
