So, how did you come up with your name? Whats does it mean for you?

What's the significance of it?

 

Myself; I was thinking of a gamertag for xbox live a few years back. I wanted my name to be in it because I didn't really like the whole alias thing.

So I thought of Tyla..... Then it struck me, I looked at my hand to find a small round plate with a slice of Boston chocolate mudcake on it. I proceeded to come up with the name 'Tyla has cake'

i came up with mine in year 8 maths class.

Kid next to me was writing weird things on his page and i was like 'what are you doing?'

he said making up words, so i closed my eyes and wrote six random letters, and zardez is what came up so i've used it for everything since.

(ironchef) because I love the show and love to cook up a storm, "spook" comes from my Tom Clancy Ghost Recon days, all my mates hated playing against me as I used to creep around heaps and "spook" the crap out of them lol.

then when i started playing CS i changed it to Bigsmoke well cause the maori in me can eat my fair share of food like ol mate and the 3 e's because bf2 name was taken.

ive had a few names lol, started off as Slay3r, got it from a mate who used it in CS lol (was playing in cod2 at the time) then i changed it to Echo, then Forgotten legacy, then just legacy, then decided on Rhodesy, since its my actual nickname lol, my last name is rhodes

well this is sad, but about 4 years ago, i looked into Habbo Hotel, and I wanted a new name, something different, and i saw a bunch of letters and the rest as they say is history . . .

b) when someone wants my attention they say 'hey Jason' I know they are talking to me

c) would like to think that there is some spiritual connection between me and my name... but to be honest I would be just as happy as a Bob, Jake, Barry, Chris, Stevo

Well mine was simply because my first ever online game where i went to make an online account every name i thought of was taken (predator,overlord etc....just seent he film n been playin cnc generals) so i cracked it and hit random letters which ive had since (cose no one else has it )

Just some stupid name my friends and I used in high school to define a hyperthetic guy - actually "Wokeye Thong". Both my eyes are fine, actually. Pronounced Wok+Eye, but Wookiee is fine too...

 

In my MMO days I was 'Monarche' (added an 'e' because Monarch was often taken or disallowed by the MMO).

Well, one night I was out at the pub and this guy touched my best friend's girlfriend's ass, but he was too wasted to do anything so I stabbed this guy in the face. Then, while pumped with adrenalin, I kept screaming in his face, "I STABBED YOU FOO', I STABBED YOU."

If I used my College nick name, I'd be Ad Masta B or some stupid derivitive (Masta B because we enjoyed paying out the "hip hop crew" and part of that was me doing various imitations of MC's at as many public places as I could ... and Ad, which is short for Admiral, because I used to take my mates sailing)

My name came more for the act of Shotguning something more than the gun.

 

So my name was basically a shotgun of the name Shotgun. And when people say I shotgun the .... i giggle

My main alias is Sabu which has been my nickname since year 8, if i use it it usually appears like {{--s{A}bu--}}. If its taken i usually use the derivative: Xaboo, pronounced the same way. In the case of BF2 i think Xaboo was taken for some reason so i had to add the numbers on!

Mine came from when I first got an Xbox back in about 2003, came with halo. Started off trying to call my self Master-Chief Ryan, then realised the bloody name box wouldn't take that many characters. So then I shortened it to fit, first it was Chief Ryan, then I just changed that to a Ryza and thus.......ChiefRyza was brought into the world....

It was my log-in for my emails back in highschool. Don't know where the 30 came from. Most people in real life call me by it now.

mine was purely from me being too lazy to come up with anything better at the time, the first online game I played was DF:BHD back in 2003, there were 4 classes: CQB, Medic, Sniper and of course Gunner, so i picked Gunner being I used the M60 non-stop back then.

 

I was gunna get around to changing it but that never happens
