Guys.. not sure whether you're aware, but Tonnie is making do with a rig which only enables him to "run EVERYTHING on low at 800x600".

Surely as a community we can pull together and give up some of our outcast bits and pieces lying around to build him a computer more fitting for our lead mod developer.....

Imagine the speed and awsomness in which he'd be able to code with a better computer........

Post up in this thread what you're able to donate to this worthy cause :)

(any remaining bit's of lesser quality can be given to Shady to stop him complaining :) )

So what we need is their current specs posted, then someone to sort through the "donations" and try and build tonnie and shady something reasonable outa the list.

Specs as in the current Mobo and go from there ?....so we can figure out what we all have that will be a "plug and play" upgrade ,more than total rebuild...sorry Shady and tonnie if I'm wrong...but you guys have never built a PC from scratch afaik...?..

so unless someone is going to call into their houses and put it altogether....plug and play is the easy solution ..?????????

I have a spare 8600gt and a few 1 gig ram sticks..

(Kingston)...

(and a couple of PSU's...350 and 500 watt)

I think if we all chip in our spare parts/bit of money then we can build tonnie a nice new PC that will run BF2 smoothly at max. I'm thinking a 8800GT/New motherboard, Case, RAM, etc.

Anything people don't have spare we can chip in to buy - it won't be much if we all put in a little bit. Somebody in Brisbane can build it, I can do it pretty easily and then get it to tonnie if nobody else is close/wants to.

noddy, open an account, or put up your details and we can all chip in i think we trust you enough :)

post up a new thread about it

Far out.... knew Rooter had some serious gear packed up somewhere :p

Should we organize a person to send this to put it together or send it right to tonnie?
