July 10, 200915 yr wow, I remember the first one when that came out. My PC at the time couldn't play it. http://www.adam.com.au/otaylor/gsa-sig.jpg
July 10, 200915 yr wow that looks freakin SWEET! so do you get to control the bots from inside like that one? http://i574.photobucket.com/albums/ss187/Chanvlan/new_kit.jpg yeah but this is the internet' date=' you have to expect the unexpected or else you'll get caught out by things you should've expected but didn't. Its exactly like knowing about the stuff you dont know about, that way you know theres stuff you dont know so when you know what you dont know you can say "ah i knew that!"[/quote']
July 10, 200915 yr why do they still insist on that chunky style of the robots? what about having a battlesuit style mechwarrior, now THAT i would buy. something i always hated about it was the feel that im just lugging around a suitcase with guns on it. probably the longest running franchise ive ever seen.
July 10, 200915 yr wonder if it will have TracIR support or something similar? what about having a battlesuit style mechwarrior, now THAT i would buy. The Heavygear series were like that, Mechwarrior has always been about mammoth style mechs charging around the battletech universe, whereas Heavygear, while being smaller 'mechs' or gears as they're called is more similar to the gundam style robots, just not as big. Bleh. It's an awesome game and Mech Warrior 3 was awesome better then 4 LOOLS + the sounds are awesome i guess it's something about going from a little infantry man to a big mech warrior that can shoot big stuff and make explosions bigger then a small hand grenade! getting mad for peoples amusement

Mechwarrior, and the gaming system it was based on 'Battletech' is a franchise. July 17, 200915 yr I'm a massive Mechwarrior fan from waaaaaay back. Played MW, MW2, MW3, MW4, MC, MC2 and all of the expansions as well as dabbling in a bit of Battletech back story and cards  Really can't wait for this game and REALLY hope they don't screw with it and make any stupid changes that appeal to the mindless masses just to get the sales up. Also after reading that they are going to release the entire MW4 series for free. I found that internode actually has the full version of MC2 sitting in their files section. And I am very embarrassed to say I got it and now I am sucked into playing the whole campaign again of a game that is almost 10 years old! :shower: Do not underestimate the power of Mechwarrior
July 17, 200915 yr dear me, i can still remember when this was a table top game, oh man i am old. and i remember playing the very first mechwarrior game on PC, oh man that was fun. i think i still have all the gaming books and fluff in my garage! for the wargame and the RPG, (along with more weird crap i am way to embarrassed to mention) Edited July 17, 200915 yr by KermitTheInsurgent

July 19, 200915 yr Yep and it is pretty sweet even 10 years on, the graphics are quite dated but the feeling of 100 tons of victory stomping around the battlefield is just timeless, lol.
