July 6, 200915 yr Looks like you have fried vram. Have you overclocked your graphics card at all? What is the BSOD error ? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
July 6, 200915 yr Author will get a pic of the bsod , and try decode it , as it is to hard to read and i am download ATI Drivers now http://i.imgur.com/798rp.png http://i46.tinypic.com/v2wmlz.png Close Air Support excellence
July 6, 200915 yr Do you see those thick vertical lines during post, or only when you get into Windows? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
July 6, 200915 yr Author lines come up as soon as power up just small thin ones on the Intel Load page but then they get big after that http://i.imgur.com/798rp.png http://i46.tinypic.com/v2wmlz.png Close Air Support excellence
July 6, 200915 yr Author no its stock standard http://i.imgur.com/798rp.png http://i46.tinypic.com/v2wmlz.png Close Air Support excellence
July 6, 200915 yr Strange, it's normally caused by overclocking. But I'm 99% sure that you you have bad vram, especially if it happens during post. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do about it. can you list your specs? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
July 6, 200915 yr i get something similar in my VMConsole when i reboot my WinServer08 box, doesn't BSOD tho... [edit] - i should mention, that it appears only when the usualy "Windows is starting" screen appears, part from that works fine. July 6, 200915 yr Yeah it can happen without getting BSOD, it's not uncommon though. Sometimes it's caused by heat, but you can normally tell if it's heat related because the artifacts only appear once your pc has been on for some time, or only during gaming. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
July 6, 200915 yr Author its a long shot just wondering can this affect be caused because of idiot delivery people dropping expensive packages?( computers ) http://i.imgur.com/798rp.png http://i46.tinypic.com/v2wmlz.png Close Air Support excellence
July 6, 200915 yr possible, normally if that is the case it will happen from day dot as it could be something not seated properly. There comes a time in every musician's life when they must decide what instrument they should master. Few. If any are ever worthy enough to master. The cowbell.

July 6, 200915 yr Author so do we think the main problem is the video card ? http://i.imgur.com/798rp.png http://i46.tinypic.com/v2wmlz.png Close Air Support excellence
July 6, 200915 yr My uneducated guess says that its the video card... I can't really think of anything else that could cause that sort of problem. http://i.imgur.com/zoL1k.png
July 6, 200915 yr just realised you have the same monitor as me Make sure the G card is seated properly, if it still doesn't work send it back and get it covered under warranty http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/2111/shotgunreal.pnghttp://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/opagamahons.jpghttp://www.bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/lol.bmp Love you long time gunner <3 I like to wait till im nearly done, then pull out and yell "COVERING FIRE!!!" Ahhh. Im so glad I have a GF and she doesnt read these forums...
July 6, 200915 yr Yeah, Im going with Video card as well. If you have a spare one, try swapping them out, this would give you a pretty good idea if it was that Video card or something else http://i712.photobucket.com/albums/ww130/CptCarter_400/Cptcartersig.jpg http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/393/userbar758626.gif
July 6, 200915 yr My last two cards have died on me for some mysterious reason , now i am forced to cope with my downgrade ( My 9000gt ). Take into consideration that i have not overclocked them and the rest of my machine is fine.
