There looks to be a interesting series starting tonight at 19:30 (AEST) on the History Channel. Its called Andy Mcnab's: Tour of Duty granted I know Andy isn't the ideal man to put his name on the series but from what I have seen so far it looks pretty good. Details can be found here.

 

I will tell you all what the first episode is like later tonight. :sweat:

    Andy McNab isnt that bad he did serve his time and well, i have read most of his books and their not half bad i must say.

    You mean the one I already referenced days ago and even posted a video of like the 6th episode. Not bad since I own the entire box set that looks like a dodgy paper ammo can. ;)

    EDIT: Right I have watched about 35mins of this show Andy Mcnabs Tour of Duty and I frankly if I ever meet Andy on the street I will punch him right in the family jewels. His constant bollocks in the background completely ruins any possible way this show could be viewable. Its right up there with Future Weapons for the worst possible person to host a show about realistic weapons and events.

    haha yeh, i remember watching an episode a while back when i changed the channel i had the volume turned up real loud and then the guy started screaming i nearlly shat my pants.

    The frequency with which he uses the phrase "bad guys" is appalling. As if the opposition are pure evil and US forces are like pure crusading liberators or some junk.

     

    Also his joy at how much things cost. The more billions you spend on things like GPS-guided artillery shells that cost $250000 each instead of health care/education/rebuilding the Middle East, the better job they're doing.

     

    He kind of exemplifies redneck America.
