My issue is that I have just woke up and I haven't downloaded it yet. What should I do?

edit; i was getting 20-30k with gsa, 550k with the totalgaming mirror and now it's at 650k. sweet.

thats the error message details, if anyone can help be greatly appreciated, also. with a reinstall how do i go about it, do i need to uninstall BF2 completely or can i just unistall PR and start again ?

I cannot login to BF2 at all I enter my details or use my login shortcut and BF2/PR.exe stops working/responding without any error. Going to try a fresh reinstall see if that fixes it.

Also, there is a new PR.EXE so maybe you need to delete the old one before installing the new one?

use the torrent for it, that would be the quickest

server 2 has no voip. is that an issue.

Restarting the server now should fix the problem.

i played one round, ive tried to start it 6 times now, once the loading bar fills and the game is about to start i crash to desktop

Thank you problem solved after Reinstall, now i just seem to have a random PB kick Corrupt mem file.... hmmmmmm

 

i just went to land a helo with a SQD in it and the thing froze and went out to lobby with that error message !

Dogg, I'm getting that issue as well from the GSA. Whether it didn't fully download or the actual files are corrupt is beyond me.

 

Is there another torrent, or could someone please link the actual torrent link please. It would be much appreciated.

I noticed Jam talking about the old 2GB BF2.exe before (maybe), do I need to re-enable that .exe or is the new .exe using more than 2GB?

Bugger, try clicking on that link and it comes up banned page - game cartoon violence. GAH!

Sigh, it's all good now I think. I hope Vuze works here, I used orbit to download the torrent so now I'm waiting for Vuze to install.

 

 

OK ANoTHER EDIT - When I try and run the torrent file in UTorrent, I paste the URL in the appropriate field it says invalid torrent file. It downloads ok in Orbit, but when I try and open that file it says the same thing.

 

Final Edit Guys- Don't worry I've got this sorted I think. Downloading with Orbit from GSA gives me ~700kb/s - ~1.1mb/s

Hopefully this file works.

you dont have to redownload if its not working, just open the torrent file and point it to the PR 0.86 patch and it will fix the broken bits of it.

Meh, Chan I started the download with Orbit and it was done in about 8 minutes anyway so I couldn't have been bothered.

 

Just wondering if someone could help here, I have never been able to get a higher resolution than 1024x768 @60hz in game - but on my normal desktop and in the Nvidia control options I can go up to 1200x800

 

Does anyone know why this is and how I can fix it? I tried editing the video.con settings but it resulted in the game crashing when I tried to log on.
