Heres one for the photoshop (or similar program ) wizards.

 

This is a competition for the design of the new BigD Gaming banner for the top of the forum.

 

The banner should be 900x180 pixels.

 

The theme colours are:

 

dark blue 002850 r0 g40 b80

burnt orange FF6414 r255 g100 b20

 

You can use other colours, but these are our base.

 

The banner needs to incorporate "BigD Gaming Community" but otherwise feel free to use any images/etc you want.

 

Entries will be taken for the next two weeks, then one week will be given for voting.

Entries need to be clean (no nudity, swear words, etc) and you cannot vote for yourself.

I'm working on something but I really think I like it as is has that very realistic feel about it. I would love to put the Project Reality dog tag's in there but there pretty anal about outsiders using them and I hardly feel like starting a flame war over something so stupid.

Dont get me wrong, I like it, but its missing.....something. I dont know what, maybe its just me but thats my opinion. If the devs are gonna be anal about us promoting thier mod, stuff 'em.

Maybe a different font for the Project Reality minimod part Vis. Otherwise looks good!

Yeah its alot harder to make sometime of this size then it is to make say a signature so I'm having trouble finding images that are the right size and fonts to match them. BTW I make no claim on the images I have used so far they come from a number of different places none seem to have water marks or be copy righted.

I'm inclined to disagree well with the orange at least I find it's a odd colour I love the blue and I've tried to put it in where ever possible but the likely hood of me using the orange is getting less and less.

Firehawk, we are BigD, Bigdy was our original forum.

BigD = The current name and homage to Bigdy our former service provider who hosted the server for us.
