April 23, 200915 yr Coincidence not intended personally I don't think its appropriate to pay homage to our fallen by playing war games. If you want to show your support then you should be at the dawn service or cheering the boys & girls on at any number of parades around Australia. http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa188/VisOne_Photo/Signatures%20and%20Banners/VisP.png

April 23, 200915 yr Im marching in the city on Saturday. Vis, it isn't in honour of the fallen at all, its a Saturday night and i doubt alot of the community has alot on that night, judging by the amount signing up. Since when was this community night dedicated to ANZAC day?
April 23, 200915 yr It very was like I said its just coincidence that it happens to fall on Anzac day night. I just decided to have it on Saturday night because my missus flys back into the country on Friday and I'm sure she would not be to happy if I flagged out first night together for playing video games. http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa188/VisOne_Photo/Signatures%20and%20Banners/VisP.png
April 23, 200915 yr if anzac day is saturday, how come i get the monday off of school? Cause your State rocks, each state chooses if they declare it a public holi or not and this year I think only TAS & the ACT did, well done to them and a big you suck to all the other state leaders that chose not to http://matt.itsthemadhouse.com/na/sigs/na-sig-gruanch5.png http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/bulletmagnet.bmp http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/gren.bmp http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/ocrs.bmp http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/opagamaserv.jpg

April 25, 200915 yr Lest we forget. I just marched in the city with my batallion holding the WW1 flags, got to carry the 4th Light Horse banner, very moving, had no idea that so many people turned out to see the parade. Got in a ton of photos and on TV to, might be on a news website. Anyone go to any parades or services today?
April 25, 200915 yr went to the dawn service in my home town, now just watching the parade on tv (brissy one) http://i.imgur.com/TLiDl.png

April 25, 200915 yr Went to the Dawn Service at the Shrine in Melbourne, something about hearing the last post can choke a bloke up and then to finish it off the national Anthem, great start to a morning.

April 25, 200915 yr Author Coincidence not intended personally I don't think its appropriate to pay homage to our fallen by playing war games. If you want to show your support then you should be at the dawn service or cheering the boys & girls on at any number of parades around Australia. Concur, but..... I also find getting together in a common place with our Australian neighbours on this day rather fitting, regardless of what we're doing - dont' forget...this isn't just an Australian day. And there's nothing to say we can't pause in game to remember either - I've often considered using the game as a vehicle to hold some form of commemoration, to bring together those who can't physically travel to be in the same place.
April 25, 200915 yr its unfortunate but im fairly certain any attempt at holding a minutes silence over the server will be spoiled by a random guy spamming the page up/down buttons Good Conduct http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/goodconduct.bmp
