Who has it and who is interested in trying some Hamachi MP games out?

 

I played Faces of War (the prequel) quite a lot in coop MP and some PvP and it was great fun.

 

For those of you who don't know about it Men of War is a WWII strategy game where you control troops/tanks/guns/etc. but it is a lot more in depth than most RTS games, you have to manage your troops ammo, health, fuel and each unit has its own inventory, etc. See here: http://www.menofwargame.com/features.phtml

 

The interface system can get a bit annoying some times, but the game is great for people who enjoy in depth strategy and tactics.

I most certainly do .... and I'm certainly up for some Hamachi MP action.

 

In fact earlier today I was playing the best single player map ever where you do this little 3rd person run through a town while your gunning on a up armoured jeep.

So you've finished the other campaigns?

The end of that mission was the hardest...i couldnt work out how to plant the dynamite at the roadblock ! but i found out how to funnel petrol sooo easy lol

 

i'l play too btw.

I've got the same problem man I'm stuck the dynamite won't work. Strange because it worked fine in the MP beta.

 

There is a patch out for it but its really just a unofficial "official beta" for the upcoming patch. It doesn't say anything about fixing the bloody dynamite though.

ohhh the quickfix is this

 

run up to the rubble and just drop it on the ground

thats what i did lol didint know how to "plant"

 

 

when i finished the game like a month ago when it came out, i didint get these forum help on their main site

and for that i skipped alot of russian spy missions at the end never worked out how to cut the wires etc...stealth missions

 

ended up doing all of them in co-op and screwed around until we worked it out pretty fun co-op is.

he gave me all vehicles and he had all infantry

I should have gotten it when i saw it, bah will be keen but wont have it till next week Saturday

Its alright friend I have the flu/misc virus as well as does most of Australia it seems so when could possibly be better.

 

BTW going to the shops for dinner shopping sucks when your sick.

It's worse when you go shopping with your housemates when you're all really hungry. Because when you get home you have to find somewhere to put the 3KG's of deli ham and 50 bread rolls. I still have a 5kg tin of spaghetti in the shed from about 6 years ago.

sounds awesome, that means i'l have to play it again. Havent touched it in a couple of months beecause i was finished with the missions and stuff. Damn the Interface is really , really hard to get into and once your into it, other games are just plain hard to do because they are so different

Hrmmmmmmmmmmm after reading I went n got it, few hrs later Just had my first go... different.. bit hard without any tutorial etc.. Not sure if I missed it or there isnt one.. Might tryyyy again. No base building I assume?

Yep no base building, it is pretty hardcore realistic. You get reinforcements in some maps but that is it.

 

I don't think there is a tutorial in game but you should probably read the manual which is in the game directory.

 

And yes it is quite brutal at times.

Looks fairly interesting..

Nothing specially really its not that intensive unless there is allot of arty being used.
