I just would like to say sorry to those I recently upset. Darth was correct in that I should have just pm'd someone instead of posting it openly especially for something that would otherwise blow over in a day.

That aside it's a good thing that this was all sorted out in a timing fashion but please everyone remember that if you have a issue with the admin team or a individual admin bring it up with us first. You will accomplish nothing by openly attacking the admin team when the primary lines of communication ie email or personal messesage's haven't even been used. Were here trying our best every possible moment of our free time to give you the best possible conditions to play under and we take it very seriously when were been insulted for doing nothing more than giving up our free time to help you all out.

NO TEAMKILLING... (unless you are a certain prominent SL who I happen to know who 'teaches' people why they should follow orders properly coz if they don't... BANG) lol.

QUESTION TO ADMIN :

 

In this circumstance (a pilot is AFK in a chopper, or any needed vehicle)

Surely a player is within their right to execute the AFK player for the good of the team???

This has happened to me before with a tank on greasy mullet,

I spawned back at the US base knowing that there was a tank there, only to find a player AFK sitting in the tank.

 

There wasn't a single vehicle in the whole US base (NOT 1)

The options were:

1. wait (for god knows how long) feeling like tits on a bull.

2. TK and wait for vehicle to re-spawn (for god knows how long)

3. walk (the nearest flag/vehicle isn't just around the corner either)

 

Well I waited anyway for about 3 minutes until a vehicle spawned (NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT EITHER!!!!)

 

My point is, it's very selfish to grab ANY vehicle and then go AFK.

It should be discouraged and have consequences,

And any player who does it should expect the wrath of the next player that comes along and needs (not wants but needs) said vehicle........

There is to be NO intentional teamkilling AT ALL! It does not matter if it is in the interest of the team, or whatever. If you are seen intentionally teamkilling someone, you WILL face the consequences regardless of what your excuse is.

if there is a player in a vehicle that you NEED and he is AFK then find an admin, get them to request he get out (to confirm he is AKK and then he will be kicked.

 

You can then have the vehicle for free, no TK's not mess no fuss.

Right this thread has served its purpose here it is in plain 100% pure skippy english. Also to give Jmull a proper answer and clarification to his quest about AFK players there is a 1min idle time kick on the server so WAIT.

 

THERE IS NO INTENTIONAL TEAM KILLING UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE'S IS IT ALLOW, CONDONED OR REASONABLE.
