i will gladly give my tax dollars to any soldier as opposed to my joke of a government. I live on a road that has not been sealed since i was 7, yeah 7 thats near 15 years ago! No water, gas, rubbish removal or sewerage. i paid $25,000 in taxes last year, what do i get from their so called bail out package $0 + -$630 in super fees, yet an ex, who at 17 hadnt heard of frangas and got pregnant gets $1700 for staying home + her single mum pension. give her money to the soldiers, she's buying a damn plasma with it.

 

These are the people that spend months away from home and loved ones, with the possibilty of not returning to them.

Give them a break or GTFO of office.:furious:

also the little bail out package that is met to save the banks? What a joke it is the way Rudd can add a new Tax. The big four banks in Australia are all A rated or higher there was no need to protect the banks. In the next few weeks we will see a deposit tax wait and see they didn't tell the whole truth.

 

Neva.enuf I agree with you on the tax issue and all MR Rudd has done is bought Plasma screens for those on the government payments.

This is total BS debt should be canceled and they should all get full compensation plus some.

Every time you see the news show you the country's top ceo's and the money they make, i always wonder why they get paid so much.. I mean, being in the office isnt exactly putting your life on now is it?

Ok, its a terrible situation and we all clearly feel for the families involved - but its already been clarified as a simple system error and has since been rectified.

 

So how about we all cool out and relax a little. The problem is fixed.
