Posted October 3, 200816 yr I know this will bring up a lot of consternation and angst, BUT I think its something we all have opinions on. Personally I think if comes down to flicks from the three greats of that decade, Arny, Sly and the walking legend himself Chuck Norris! My thoughts: Arny - Predator / Commando Sly - First Blood / FB Pt2 Chuck - Delta Force There comes a time in every musician's life when they must decide what instrument they should master. Few. If any are ever worthy enough to master. The cowbell.
October 3, 200816 yr Got to throw Jean-Claude Van Damme in there for the hell of it for universal soldiers and the street fighter movies. Also can't forget to add Arnold Schwarzenegger's films Total Recall & Last Action Hero. Lets not forget Bruce Willis with movies like Die Hard , The Last Boyscout and The Fifth Element. And how could you not put up Sylvester Stallone seriously ROCKY & RAMBO !!! ... not to mention he teams up with Wesley Snipes in Demolition Man and to top it off he was Judge Dread. Grant not all of these are great movies but they did what they were meant to do entertain the masses and make a some people very very very rich. October 3, 200816 yr Author how could you not put up Sylvester Stallone seriously ROCKY & RAMBO !!! Yeah Bruce was pretty darn good in Die Hard First Blood is Rambo mate sheesh, well technically we're both wrong as its Rambo: First Blood, wouldn't put Rocky in there myself but thats cos I never got into the boxing flicks. Universal Soldier was great but that is from the 90's, not 80's so your out there as were a lot of the other flicks you mention (5th Element, Total Recall, Last Boy Scout etc, good flicks all). There comes a time in every musician's life when they must decide what instrument they should master. Few. If any are ever worthy enough to master. The cowbell.
October 3, 200816 yr Ohh sorry kind of missed the 80's part .... ohh well its all just one big blur of rock fights, blowing up army men and drinking in the later part. I mean the late 80's and most of the 90's here. http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa188/VisOne_Photo/Signatures%20and%20Banners/VisP.png

I mean the late 80's and most of the 90's here. The two greatest periods of action flicks where there was no 'green screen acting' and the extras that got shot in the films actually died!
