Every time i try to join server 1 I get aget a message saying that server is running a diferent game version. Im sure this has been a discussed before but whats going on?

First question I have to ask Beyer is do you have the new version of PR ?

 

The mod was updated about 3 weeks ago to version 0.809 if you haven't updated that would be the most likely problem.

and if that's not it try re-installing the 1.41 patch http://www.gamershell.com/download_16477.shtml

i've had the same issue, mine seems to come good if i refresh the list in deployment menu a couple of times then access GSA through fav's.

I have the current PR version 0.809 and have been playing it since the day it came out, the issue i have is only when trying to join GSA server 1. I was playing on Psyrus's training server today but could nnot join GSA server 1

try and join it through the ip address

 

EA's gamespy system is all borked at the moment so the lists are unreliable

Have you made sure the port number is correct? I made a mistake and used the wrong port (16567 i think) and that must be a 'nilla server and it gave me the same message.

203.13.37.40 /port 16568 for server 1.

 

Port 16569 for #2.

I just did a complete re install right from the bottom (BF2) and still didnt fix it, then i read the latest post, one fricken number out fixed the problem. Ive been attempting to connect to the server via the IP using the port number that is generated automaticly as i have done in hte past. stoopid frekin port numbers
