That's right, we are holding another BigD banner competition to celebrate 0.8 and our expansion into Armed Assault.

 

This time round, feel free to create ARMA related banners as well as PR.

Images are to be 1000x200 and around 100kb in size. .jpg or .png file types please.

 

All banners should include the text 'BigD Gaming Community' AND 'Powered by GSA Servers'.

 

You have 3 weeks to get you entry/entries in, then 2 weeks for voting and judging.

 

Previous winning entries and fabulous examples can be seen at the top of our forums. Winning entries will be added to the current rotation.

 

Incorporation of BigD colours would be great too:

The GIMP is free and more than capable. I lack the skills though :-/

I like it! The only thing that I reckon needs improvement is the Red/Black text, it doesn't stand out enough imo, but then again I'm horrible at graphic design so what do I know :p?

QFT: Your computer is smart man. It tells you not to play the second worst PR map [burning Sands] (first is Wanda Shan).

Also it looks like its lacking a border also if you can try to incorporate the traditional bigD colours. I know its hard to get those particular colours in some times I have entered every single one of these comps and kick started this one as well. One final thing lose the UK picture on the left or find a way of bringing the weapons back into the picture opposed to fading them out it doesn't look right.

Not after any particular amount and yes you can have multiple entries - just try not to go berserk...
