I don't think it will turn into Cold War MkII. But I do wonder what will happen.

Eh the way I see it is Russia is saying dont tread on our turf, kinda like a frilled neck lizard or a spitting cobra getting all defensive about their territory (that they seem to be losing state by state)

the russians wouldnt use their nukes, neither would most sane countries. as soon as the first nuke is fired against another country the war will be over... and they know that, its all bluff.

I like the fact the US had a go at them for doing the exact same thing they did in Iraq, it's like a sitcom.

Hahaha yeah I know Georgia isnt Russian territory trip, but they'd like it to be and the fact that US arms are supporting them is probably the reason for them flexing muscle, I'm sure they dont want a reoccurance of Afganhistan

the USA cant do much atm because it is militarly stretched to its limit(iraq and afghanistan)... with new elections soon and G.W.Bush's regin coming to an end, countries like russia and china arent worried or concerned about american lashbacks!!

 

 

the goergian thing is a mess but not the worst of it.

 

the fact that russia is rearming its baltic fleet with nuclear warheads. and russia has said publically to two eastern european countries that if they sign america's/nato's eastern european missile defence program they will point nuclear weapons at them.

thoughs 2 countrys are both poland and Ukraine which have ex soviet radar defense stations in ther borders. these stations are still used by russia, but by signing the with USA and nato the stations will fall into american hands and either be adapted or pulled down for the missle defence system.

 

also the russian fleet based in the Ukrainian port of servastapol was told by Ukraine authorities the russian fleet now has to get permission to move its ships in and out of ukrainian waters. Russia has said F*** You we do wat we want. so Ukraine said okay then in 2015 or something when the russian lease on the port for use as a naval base will not be resigned. Russia replied by saying.... try and make us... we wont leave!

They are the same person. The past Prime Minister I do believe actually got elected as the President. Russian Politics at work!

I think there should be more of it, lets face it, If they hate someone who isn't us, then the likelihood of trouble coming to our enclosed island are slim to nill. I honestly think we should do a "Switzerland" and say F.U. to the rest of the world and enclose our borders and become self sufficient. We have natural defence, and live on an island, what more could you ask for?

You know I will find it quite amusing the day the nukes are fired. I would not be surprised one bit if they didn't actually work because they have been on ice for so long. It'd be like a big bottle rocket just fizzling out. And then there would be a picnic, and the world would join hands and make a giant peace sign. Followed by an egg and spoon race and a sack race, a three legged race, and some ice cream, and then home, because it would had been a big day and everyone would be tired.

 

Did I mention that world hunger would also be mysteriously solved on that day too.

cause some werid guy with a beard would feed the millions starving with jus 3 loaves of stale bread and 3 off fish! some how he manages to make alot more food out of jus 6 items......
