Posted July 18, 200816 yr Ok so I got a new keyboard/mouse... Now I can't set a mouse button to TS speak. What gives?
July 18, 200816 yr Whatever mouse it is, make sure you get the drivers for it first [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
July 18, 200816 yr Author All installed. I just can't use it's side buttons to set the voice key in TS.
July 18, 200816 yr What is the mouse model? Logitech are kinda funny in that way. My G5 2007ed has 2 side buttons, but only 1 can be assigned as a TS button, the other doesn't even register. I guess that the mouse doesn't make a distinction between the scroll click and the side click... therefore no go ? http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee94/psyrus_uraya/awards-1.png QFT: Your computer is smart man. July 18, 200816 yr Hmm try restarting, and tell me what mouse you have might be able to help a little more. If its the G9, There should be a service called SetPointII.exe running *replies came way too fast then, look it up somewhere though or on Logitech's website, I had trouble at first with my G9 Edited July 18, 200816 yr by YAK [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
July 18, 200816 yr Weird! Setpoint is supposed to make it work  http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee94/psyrus_uraya/awards-1.png QFT: Your computer is smart man. July 18, 200816 yr I don't use Setpoint for MX518. I still get DPI changes on the mouse, all the buttons work and I don't lose however many MB of RAM to a bloated program running in the background. Made a difference with 1GB of RAM, probably not needed now but it ain't broke, so don't fix it. http://imgur.com/e5y6e.gif You've already ruined these forums for me, I have no desire to read your rhetoric or the pathetic arguments you get yourself in to, or the personal vendetta you have against me, so please, do not talk to me. Ever. About anything.
July 18, 200816 yr Setpoint is a load of arse but unfortunately it's needed for some things - like the scrollwheel left/right pushy action which isn't recognised as a standard button so must be mapped as a keypress. July 19, 200816 yr Author I can't even MIDDLE CLICK my favourites toolbar, or tabs in firefox to close them. Takes at least 2 clicks of the scroll wheel to do this. God damn this mouse ****ing sucks
