I have a mate that years ago shot a sks at a railway line side on, it came back and hit in the leg. he said the same thing "not doing that again"

i got hit in the side of the head by a .22 ricochet , didnt hurt though but scary . went through my eyebrow .

gekko , what are your reasonings for thinking this is fake ? why would someone go to the trouble of blowing some earprotectors of there head to get on the net , like i said already , you can see the bullet bounce up from the dirt in front of him .

u tie a piece of string to a set of ear muffs with a bullet hole already in it, yank them off after he has fired the shot and post edit the video to add the puff of dust. Just to get people to watch their online video.

hmm , no i dont agree . these guys knew what they were doing and were filming . freak accidents like that do happen . i know from experience where a matter of centimetres either way means life or death .

Yeah I shot myself with a .17 air rifle ricochet once. No damage to myself but it was an interesting experience, followed by "We're not doing that anymore".

I can believe that it could happen, but i have seen a lot of bogus stuff on the net where people just want to get themselves seen by as many people as they can. I don't think it would be hard to fake and almost shooting yourself in the head is going to get way more hits than a guy firing a big mo fo of a gun...IMO, i know others differ.
