Well at last it's here, the team has put a great deal of effort into this release and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do... but as usuall this is still a work in progress and there will be updates as and when we complete them.

Help required please.... I have run the installer & installed all of the map packs to the copied & renamed pr_sp_07\levels folder, but, when I run from the edited shortcut & click on single player I am unable to see any maps..

 

The program indicates that it is running the sp mod but no maps... Can anyone enlighten me please.. I am sure it is something minor..

 

I am running windows vista home premium... just in case this makes a bizare difference..

does it have to be on insurgency mode or something ?

are you sure the levels are installed into the SP_pr folder you could also try running a local server if your already not or click on the single player tab

I followed all the instructions.... all of the map packs want to install to the mod directory only... had to manually change it to the pr_sp_07/levels directory as per the instructions....

 

I hate it when this sort of doodoo happens...

go to your PR_SP_07/levels folder and check to see if the maps are in there. If there's another folder names "mods' or "PR_SP_07" folder in your levels folder go into it and check if the map folders are in there

Thanks rambo..... I feel like a complete noob now.... I shouldnt have directed the install of the maps to the specific directory... am moving the directory now & hopefully it will work...

I knew it would be something simple

Well, I successfully got it running. Its not bad considering I've only played it once. I tried commanding but the squads were worse than some of the vBF2 noobs we get on the public servers.

Here is where I went wrong.... Just make sure when you are installing the map packs that you leave it pointing to the "BF2\mods" folder, DO NOT point it to the pr_sp_07\levels folder as it states in instruction No.3....
