Is your house nearly flooded too?

Just tried to go to work, all roads but one flooded. Every other car in the Camden area is trying to get out via one road. Sat there for 30mins and moved 100m.

Epic flood!

I guess I'll "work from home" today..

Yeah, 10 year rainfall record, and there is supposed to be more coming today.

Im right in near the city and one lane on either side of Anzac Parade flooded yesterday - water up over the gutter onto the footpath at times, the drainage just cant keep up.

People still drive like morons though

I can't get ADSL2 now..lol.

I'm moving to Liechardt as soon as I can be bothered to. ie sometime in the next 10 years :p

My commute from the Mountains to Rhodes was alright this morning. You could always move West, but then you wouldn't be able to get ADSL2!

West as in WA?

If so, I think you need to rethink :)

I believe we have one of the higher DSLAMS per capita of all the states, considering the low population here.

If you mean west of where he currently lives, then you're probably right. Although in a year or two you guys won't have to worry too much about that since [hopefuly] OPEL will get a full green light and start rolling out the wimax & adsl2+ to unSLAMMED exchanges - 6mbps 30KM from the tower, I THINK THAT = teh WIN!

QFT: Your computer is smart man. It tells you not to play the second worst PR map [burning Sands] (first is Wanda Shan).

QFT: if you dont get pissed off when you lose you dont care enough

It's been raining here for so long I don't know when it started... Some time last week anyway.

No Psyrus, I think you need to re-read the thread title!!

Yeah, but when people say west, it's rather ambiguous :p You could just keep going till you hit Perth (don't do it though, misssstaaaake to maaaaake).

But yeah, my second point still stands though!

I wish we could get that much rain... our garden has gone from green to brown in less than a month :(

Looked to see if the rain had stopped (it had, :shok:), and I saw this.

Taken from my bedroom window, looking out over the Manning River towards Taree. Never seen a cloud so low! (mind the cobwebs on the window, too lazy to open it :p)

If you consider 85 year olds hot charger, yeah, theres a hot chick behind those curtains :p

Madhouse, Cundletown. Taree is right under that big cloud.

You're all wrong, and I am always right, and the sooner you accept it, the happier you will be. That is all!

Dude....Moore Park is where it all drains to! The place is a former swamp.

LOL I have to drive a hour and a half to get to my tafe ..... can you guess when it's being piss pouring up here. Thats right from 6 to 8 when I'm on my way there and from 4 to 6 when I'm on my way home and its all sunshine and lolipops when I'm there. Its screwed there's traffic lights, accidents and morons who either drive to slow when it rains to way to fast. Its really not that hard let up on the gas when it rains and give the people ahead of you another couple of metres so you don't go them up the duff when your hit the picks.

Floods?so you mean rain right?Come to WA where they promise rain in the nightly news reports but it never comes!!!!!it never comes.....its just hot with sweat coming out of sweaty bits..

rain pppfffttt its a lie i dont beleive it...

Twas alot of rain! My place was ok but my work is next to the Parramatta River and it was very swollen, ferries canceled etc..

You see the strangest things float past in this kind of weather, the local council came and collected a couple of 6ft+ tractor tyres that washed down stream and ended up at the Wharf.
