Ok so the start of the round i say ' Guyz its reall important to stick togther in the tanks or you'll get picked off'. kingy says no worries and he did.

Then i take a look as we leave main and see them all spreading out.

I'm like 'hey guys stick together or were stuffed They ignore me.

Then about 30 sec's after this SS

(the marker is a tank position. We were suposed to be supporting bahlye at oil production)

Doc and Whore loose there tank and Kingy/venom loose there's also. Now we have one single crewed tank up_a_bum_fsuk in some unhelpfull position.

And zero hits on any challenger tanks.

 

To kingy and venom your welcome anytime in my squad.

I hate that map so much.

 

But yeah, you guys got raped at the start there. I left about 5min after you mainly becuase I hate Tanking and there isnt realy anything else to do on that map when theres only 15 people.

Yeah, not only does Al Kurfa suck the big one, but since no one cares about tanking strategy these days and feels like lonewolfing [even if dual crewed] away, I've stopped bothering. See that map come up... quit for 1-2 hours

I find the same thing - ppl are still playing tanks like vanilla BF2 in the pub server. PR requires patience - careful, slow movement and co-ordination with other armour, so that you've got two or three tanks vs their one.

 

Otherwise you simply lose.

It does not have to be slow, just thought out and voip is key.

so thats y i stoped and venom did even spot the tank he saw so i didnt c it since every1 was talking over each other i cud not hear wat he was saying

that map sucks the kumara , should be taken out of rotation . i dont mind tanks but they get old pretty quick .

i agree tanks spread out like this not good especially on that map, the team that destroys the other teams tanks with in the first minutes is the winner of the map you just can’t recover after you lost the first tank battle.

 

Hehe Head remember the fools road map where we assaulted the helibase we all when't and attacked at both entrances, that was tight are squad just walked in and with in 1.5 seconds the enemy was all dead, and then the rest was running for the hills with there bums on fire. Id like to see that more often
