Well finnay was uncapped and im hit with a big Invalid CD-key everytime i try to join a server. any1 else had this problem, ive had it b4 and i had to reinstall.

 

If someone knows another way i would appreciate it but other wise looks like another 2h 30m reinstall

naaa im on a good desktop but i think its had its day 4 reformats and 2 new hard drives, now has a 350gb HDR. But the dam patching takes forever all well ill just play some xbox while its doin that

 

 

Yeah I know the solution, which has worked for me twice:

 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2\ergc

 

Edit that to be your BF2 CD-KEY, but put x9392 in front of it, all as one word.. so if your cdkey was abcde12345, it would be put in as

 

x9392abcde12345

 

That should fix the problem.
