Posted November 29, 200717 yr http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa188/VisOne_Photo/Frontlines.jpg BATTLEGROUP BLITZKRIEG!! For those of you who don't pay attention to the things that matter BGF is being released very soon, there torrent file download is already up and listed below. I'll also post this over at GSA and see if we can get a server running atleast for a little while so we can have a game, to help tie us over for the new PR and Forgotten Hope. It is with great pleasure that the Battlegroup-Frontlines team can confirm that we are releasing this week, and announce that the release will take place at 2000GMT (H-Hour) on Friday. At that time the various hosting and mirror sites will open up links for you to download the full install of BGF V1.0. In advance of that, by Thursday we will make available a server build so that server admins can get their servers up and running in time for the release. We have also prepared a password - protected BitTorrent source so that you can get the release through peer-to-peer FROM NOW ON. We will release the BitTorrent password on our site at H-Hour. You will only need to unpack it then and install the mod to quickly join the server. The link for the torrent client-file is: Here Edited December 11, 200717 yr by chambersAUS http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa188/VisOne_Photo/Signatures%20and%20Banners/VisP.png

December 1, 200717 yr Author Well I've being playing its limited CO-OP for a little bit now I think its safe to say they have done a very good job of bringing BF1942 back to life on the BF2 engine. They have removed the UAV, Vehicle drop and it appears the artillery although they supply drop still works. You can no longer see flag indicators through first person or attack/defend markers, all this means you have to use your minimap or command map. Which is made to look more like a proper map with defence lines and attack routes draw on it. As for the game play I'm happy to say that the weapons have more realistic values then BF2 or BF1942 a single mauser round will easily remove your enemy. However given that most troops are armed with rifles the ever present BF2 hit indicator issues might be a little over bearing on some. All in all I think its a pretty sound mod for a first release would be great if it had flag capture order like AAS that PR use's/used. Ohh and locked vehicles cause its never fun to see your vehicle stolen by some random player from the other side who shouldn't know how to drive your tank. So I leave it up to you all to give it a go and let Kinsman know if you think its worth hosting a server ? See this thread over at the GSA forums if you DL the mod and think we should get a server hosted. December 1, 200717 yr Got some screenshots in game... Its very bf1942(as you would expect..) But theres some cool stuff, some great maps(all historically based and set out),lotsa diff vehicles,weapons-like what was used at the time. Tank sight ,comander view takes some getting used to,but with a machine gunner directing you ,you can avoid hitting/falling into things.!. Buildings that blow up and keep burning till the end of the game and the odd dead cow with its guts hanging out.... I was playing it on "Australian Heavy Assault Battle " server.(GSA NOW HAVE A SERVER-http://bf2stats.gamingsa.com/servers/ ). Was very jerky at times, server ping about 140- Probably my settings more than the server............... Still uploading the screenies.....hold on.... (ps anyone wanna translate some german billboards...? ) tank sight and unfortuntely the driver view.+biulding destruction.. before... http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/bahlye/screen008-1.png after... http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/bahlye/screen009-1.png planes...great detail on them... http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/bahlye/screen014-2.png maybe "Stay away from the russian girls, they will cut your weiner off" http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/bahlye/screen012-1.png "Wast eist dis..?" http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/bahlye/screen013-1.png and as promised,The odd dead Cow with its guts hanging out.(sure I've seen that in some previos mod..?) http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/bahlye/screen011.png Barbi time, got plenty of steak..!!!!! http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/bahlye/screen010-1.png Edited December 1, 200717 yr by Gunner_downer http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/bahlye/bahlye007/mouse_zps73307fb2.gif

December 1, 200717 yr Why copy to a new drive davee? you store on your C: and transfer? My TV episodes drive had about 7GB free, so I bought a 500GB drive to replace it - now using the 300gb drive as my main (and only) drive in the new PC.
December 1, 200717 yr Yeah that makes sense, I personally if I could afford it I'd get a static ram drive hahaha 100g be enough.. http://matt.itsthemadhouse.com/na/sigs/na-sig-gruanch5.png http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/bulletmagnet.bmp http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/gren.bmp http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/ocrs.bmp http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/opagamaserv.jpg
December 1, 200717 yr Author Guys if your in a TANK, AT gun or pretty much any vehicle press your Numbers 1, 2 & 3 this will change your ammunition and change to your DRIVER VIEW much wider view which will not allow you to fire. When your in a PLAIN go to view 1 and press X this will bring up your reticule and make it MUCH easier to hit things. Here's what the PDF says. http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa188/VisOne_Photo/BGF.jpg Edited December 1, 200717 yr by chambersAUS http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa188/VisOne_Photo/Signatures%20and%20Banners/VisP.png
