November 6, 200717 yr I often get shot by invisible tanks...especially on Ejod.....:hunter: :stretcher: ............... Edited November 6, 200717 yr by Gunner_downer http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/bahlye/bahlye007/mouse_zps73307fb2.gif
November 8, 200717 yr Ah I was reading about this on a discussion (more like real deal soldiers/vets having a go at wannabes/posers/people just generally interested) on militaryphotos.net. Apparently it's going to be nigh impossible for this to be fielded (according to those guys) because the cameras can get damaged easily , the insane amount of dust kicked up from a moving tank (this also applies to camera function) and apparently the tank is still visible through some sort of viewfinders , can't remember exactly what they said. Might have some benefit for stationaries though. http://users.on.net/hindes/bigdy/valour.gifhttp://img205.imageshack.us/img205/5224/operationcrownribbon02py7.jpg yeaaa booooy.
November 8, 200717 yr Thermal vision would own you hard, And every tank has thermal now. So it is useless against any tank, heli, plane that comes looking, only useful against infantry even then they would still be able to hear it call in a UAV which has thermal and nail you. Personal cloak would be bloody useful though. Just don't fart as the enemy is walking passed you.
November 9, 200717 yr A personal cloak would come in handy, in fact I wish I had one now! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/SirChuc/smokejumper3.jpg http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/valorousunit.bmphttp://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/OperationCrownRibbon02.jpg Or as one of many thousands of Canadians have said, my guns are at the bottom of that lake. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. - On Gun Confiscation
November 9, 200717 yr Hope the water doesn't fry your cloaking (and other) cameras Smokey. Where's the cheese? http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/2315/ubd4327.png
November 9, 200717 yr All water proof! Honestly though, we all know this is what it will get used for more than military purposes. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/SirChuc/smokejumper3.jpg http://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/valorousunit.bmphttp://bigdgaming.net/images/added/awards/OperationCrownRibbon02.jpg Or as one of many thousands of Canadians have said, my guns are at the bottom of that lake.
