Have you set up a home network? I'm having the same problem with mine att the moment. There's other programs out there that are better at setting up networks than Windows but I dont know of any

(thats when you have a problem between the Keyboard and the Chair, resulting in Failure.)

Make sure you are both part of the same workgroup.... I usually call it "WORKGROUP" if you run the XP network wizard it changes it to "HOME"

I have also had simular issues when the "netbios" protocol wasnt installed...(in local area connection properties)

Also worth checking your subnet mask is set the same (usualy 255.255.255.0)

Hope this is of some help.... Probably something as simple as a faulty cat5/6 lead :)

Set your own IP address. 10.0.0.'#' is always a good one.
lol, thats default and automatic.

Like everyone else said, also try pinging each other. Plus check your router settings, as they really aren't designed to be a network switch, which would be the better way of going about it if you've exhausted all other methods.
