(something for me to fiddle around with... some of the images will be stuff I actually make - generally the rendered 3D stuff - others are montage of text and image, or whatever, photochopped stuff... this is Sandy's visual play-thread)

The first one is pretty good.

And of course, the shameless flattery is always welcome. I know someone that's getting sexual favours tonight!

arrr thanks but i think i have to give up sex... used as a tool of make-her-believe-that-i-love-her-by-taking-care-of-all-her-needs-first-andasking-nothing-in-return - it only fails in the end because of life's slings and stones and outrageous fortune...

I believe I better elaborate on that last comment...

sometimes... people should just let people do things for them without thinking the person doing it wants anything back... is what I meant... having issues IRL and it bleeds through into the forums at times but, godamnit, share the pain around, I say...

What program you using to make these^^^ Sandy?

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I'm using about ten different programs...

Lightwave, Modo, Daz Studio, Poser (that's a version of Aiko3 - as Kasha an

African girl), photoshop... heaps and heaps of other applications for bits and pieces...

heaps of plugins for Lightwave & Photoshop... I have been studying Lightwave for years...

the helicopter is Lightwave & Photoshop... most of the other stuff is photoshop only

with maybe Illustrator used for the Colonel.

Hey Ho Blackie... pointers ?... practise... practise... and then more practise...

you don't need to learn all of Photoshop. It's like - find out what you want to use the tool (PS) for and then concentrate on that... the Photoshop help files are pretty useful and there's a million google-able tutes online... luckily, for most of the 3D stuff, Lightwave takes care of most of the problems for me...

and photoshop is for text, touching-up or (retrospectively) for changing/making textures to use in 3D.

The below pic took about 15 minutes... I have a lot of 3D models of different things already.
