Posted September 15, 200717 yr well having a bash on ye olde vietcong 1 the other day , i decided to check out AUSCONG. which is an australian vietcong site and surprisingly enough , was a pillar of the vietcong community back in the day. Anyways reading through the article , i came across a style of story that you would expect to see in the movies , not real life (even if is about internet related stuff). Think the Departed if you have seen , except the irish mob is a hacking community and the police special operations unit is the Anti cheat community. http://www.auscong.com/index.php?page=articles&action=view&id=14 Very epic and a good read , suggest you don't skim through it. http://users.on.net/hindes/bigdy/valour.gifhttp://img205.imageshack.us/img205/5224/operationcrownribbon02py7.jpg yeaaa booooy.
September 15, 200717 yr Wow, that was really quite cool. Wonder how darkbyte got found out though. I mean, I would have thought being on a cheat board would almost mkae it an expectation to ask for cheats http://users.on.net/hindes/bigdy/insurgency.gif Undisputed King of Insugency, Allahu Akbah!! September 15, 200717 yr Many a good time I had playing VC until I think it was the version 2.5 patch that nerfed all my favorite weapons and ruined the game. Ohh and just to go off on a tangent heres a rant 'The Departed' if a horrible Hollywood bludgeoning of a much better movie called 'Infernal Affairs' which is actually a trilogy now that I think about it. Some of you who played the demo of the retail online would have played against myself or my [TFA] or [TF/\] and finally [Z] : we had a huge player base and took the game very seriously and came down hard on he cheaters. Often out killing them without cheats and doing anything in our power to make there life the hell it was for us. September 15, 200717 yr “We …are members of a gaming community dedicated to the advancement of online cheating, teamkilling, and other forms of unconventional gameplay.” Argh... these are the guys who get caught masturbating in the school toilets at lunchtime... fifteen years after they left high school... yuck... Also I own the first Infernal Affairs , but I honestly still believe The departed is a much better film all round.....Actually wait a minute.... I do remember at the end of the departed it felt like something was missing compared to the chinese original.... but that's probably what happens when you watch a remake of something you've already seen. September 15, 200717 yr Sorry 1.25 then either way it killed the game for me and the departed still sucks balls compared and infernal affairs is a Hong Kong-nise hardly liked being called Chinese. http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa188/VisOne_Photo/Signatures%20and%20Banners/VisP.png
September 15, 200717 yr Author one thing i have noticed (when i got vietcong 1 again a few days ago i didnt play until the 1.40 patch was installed on it) , is that for majority of the weapon you don't actually look through the rear sight...instead you seem to be looking down the top or the barrel , using the front sight only , not cool IMO. Was this a result of the new patches or was it always like that? http://users.on.net/hindes/bigdy/valour.gifhttp://img205.imageshack.us/img205/5224/operationcrownribbon02py7.jpg yeaaa booooy.
