Hello and Welcome
This is your January & February Edition edition of the BigD Gaming Monthly News Bulletin, where we're bringing you the latest updates from within the BigD Gaming Community, what you may have missed in th previous month and what's to come for the month ahead. This edition we have combined both January and February together in order to bring you all the updates that came about in 2025.
We apologise for the lateness of this edition but it has been a busy time for the Media team and we are back on track.
2025 Wrap Up - Discord, Games and Socials
Looking back at the year of 2025 we have seen massive changes within BigD such as but not limited to; community and clan hosted games nights/events, battlefield 6 community hosting, major website overhauls, overhauls for Squads blackened tools in BigD as well as BigD Media team becoming affiliated with OWI for Squad.
Starting with BF6, although its time was short lived, BigD hosted a total of 3 servers which saw pop from day one! Battlefield was a great edition and a refreshing change to the community for the time in which we hosted and our community gained a lot of enjoyment 360 no scoping noobs again.
Turning out attention to the Hell Let Loose stage, we saw OC clan deliver month after month with their "Clash of Captains" events. These events attracted a full 50v50 server and gained a large following over 2025 with going from success to success!
These events will continue into the future and OC clan invites all affiliated members to get in on the action!
Switching over to Squad events, our admin team ran several Fogless Fight Nights run throughout the year and many more planned for the year ahead. Fogless Fight Nights aim to bring a customised match of set layers and factions to aim for even balancing across several game modes, aiming to give players the highest quality gameplay session they have ever had.
Over the year all of these events were open to the public and saw a packed server with ques lining up to get a taste of the action! Keep your eyes out for future events to be announced. 
One of the famous things Squad is...well, famous for, is causing massing server issues when Epic goes down or an update means you cant find any servers. So we decided to take matters into our own hands and with the genius brains of a select few, we were able to bring a simple secondary way of joining our servers via the website.
As well as making our whitelisting system fully automatic and introducing more rewards for whitelisting for those who help lead squad on our servers. These changes have been a massive success and we will continue to evolve as needed. 
Continuing on the Squad bandwagon! 2025 saw the years of hard work from our Media team recognised by the creators of Squad, OWI (Off World Industries). This recognition came with OWI sharing some of our most cinematic clips with the world as well as offering to all future Squad players a 30% discount on steam keys. (We have dropped hwo to redeem at the bottom of the article).
The media team will continue to work with OWI this year to have BigD media team recognised for the outstanding work of 2025. So watch this space for more to come.
We now finish our year that was with the website overhaul that took place back in March 2025. This overhaul saw BigD's website move to a whole new sleeker and more powerful platform that gave us more tools and resources to customise for the benefits of the community at large.
That is all for our year in review, we could of added dozens of events, but we know we need to keep it short and sharp for everyone! So thank you for an amazing 2025 and we look forward to what this year will bring.

There is currently no events planned for the remainder of February, however events are planend for March, so keep an eye ou ton the BigD Discord and all affiliated clans discords.
Message From Our Community Managers & Senior Admins
What a year 2025 was for the community, from new game releases, to major upgrades to our games backend systems, to media exposure achievements, we have done so much! We have a lot planned this year across the board and want to say, thank you for making 2025 the year it was and we look forward to seeing you all this year, in the discord, in voip and in the games we host.
