This is your August edition of the BigD Gaming Monthly News Bulletin, where we're bringing you the latest updates from within the BigD Gaming Community, what you may have missed and what's to come for the month ahead.
Monthly Wrap Up - Discord, Games and Socials
The month of July has been a steady and rather quiet month, but that's what comes with short days and cold nights! So here is what you may have missed whilst you were curled up in a ball, clinging to the warmth of your overheating 1080ti, wishing you would upgrade already.
In the muddy war torn land of Hell Let Loose we saw another OC clan & affiliates scrim on the 4th of July, which saw the Axis team win over Allies 4-1, lead by captains "Beefy" and "Rafiki". You can watch the entire match below which was cast and commentated by Shewy.
Also included below is a full teams list for those who played in the scrim.
Turning to our Squad news for last month, you would of noticed that we chose not to run a FFN (Fogless Fight Night). We chose to skip the month of July so we can future plan a big event for when the unreal 5 engine upgrade releases within the next few weeks. This engine upgrade will bring Squad into a whole new era and has a massive roadmap ahead with new factions, layer reworks and gunplay reworks.
So despite it being a quiet month for BigD Squad with events/scrims, our media team wishes to pass on a video for you to watch to keep your hunger for squad alive. This video is of course our most requested TOW vs Everything series. Enjoy!
Upcoming News, Events/Scrims
Now just because the temperature is low doesn't mean things aren't starting to heat up! We will see another OC event run on September 5th. This event is still a closed affiliated event, so if you wish to get involved you can by simply joining up with one of BigD clans. 
Although our Squad event did not go ahead for July, we will be aligning another event with the release of Unreal engine 5, this will hopefully be for late August or early September.
To keep up to date and don't miss your chance to play by ensuring you keep an eye on the Squad News channel on the BigD Discord.
If you are craving some Arma 3 operations then you are in luck! TVG clan will soon be running Arma Halo events on a regular basis, with these events planned to be open to affiliates and public members! The first event is planned to be run on the 13th of September and we encourage you to join the TVG discord to reach out and register your interest.
Sign ups will be available in the near future and we have included a link at the bottom of this article for the TVG clan discord.
