Your brothers over here at [ZSU] are a little obsessed with it. So it's obvious that at some point, that obsession would overflow from our forums and spill into yours. So here we are.

 

So as of right now, it's Christmas Eve and tomorrow we will likely have 2.1. Fuck Yeah! Hopefully they'll improve the party system so it will make it easier to get us all into the baby PU.

 

So, there has to be more guys here in bigd with Star Citizen.

I downloaded the last patch though (2.4?) and got 2 crash to desktops after 5 minutes. has there been any hotfixes yet?

This is the same for me, I have multiple ships. I however haven;t bothered to download and play it recently due to internet speed, That will change in a few months when I move to an NBN connected house.. Mainly interested in the big releases though.. squadron 42 / PW !

They are plugging away at it very, very slowly... But yeah we should, once more is done. No point getting too excited and doing anything official then waiting around for everyone's interest to just dwindle away.

*edit* - 2.4 brings persistence, money & shopping to the universe. (PU)

 

2.4 is a great patch and is a real game changer for SC. While I now have access to my SF:G, there still isn't any mechanic to make use of it and I find it far to slow to explore in Yela with. So generally me and the other ZSU playing at the moment head to the Security Post in Kareah to hunt bad guys down there who go to hack the security station. (FPS) or go about re-activating the com arrays for some easy $$ and some PVP and PVB.

 

Personally I don't mind a bit of exploration/salvaging in Yela, but the rewards when in a group are not as good.

 

As far as setting up a bigd org @AussieFirebird. It's never too early. Check out ZSU's. Look at EVE and how cut throat and full on it can be. You can expect SC will be the same.

1, set budget ( ranges from around 50ish to 500+ )

2, decide on a play style

3, lots of reading and comparing possible game features and what each ship can be used for

4, buy the ship that best suits based on the above.
