Looks like everything is going down hill... fast. I guess that's what happens when you add money to the equation

Hmm - They've covered a bunch up, deleted threads etc...

 

I assume they're trying to work out it, without having the public know every detail. From a public relations perspective, everything is peachy again.. I guess they will work it out.

What they need is a business manager to come in and sort out the two factions (coding vs art) and to put a well thought out business case together with a logical plan to produce a commercial product. What the events of the past two weeks has shown is Squad has great potential but it is been run by amateurs when it comes to business, the employees have too much emotion in their actions. The way forward as last seen with three develops now the heads of the project is concerning as with the old saying of too many chiefs, not enough indians and/or the program run as a committee. There needs to be a strong leader with an acceptable amount of control who leads by example, almost a dictator at first to guide the project through its early life, which could be right up to an Open Beta 2 months before full release.

Ah right, yeah I went on the forums last night and couldn't see anything.

 

I hope something like you suggested happens Madhouse, especially as some of those people have invested quite a bit into it.

I feel a bit of shame not for donating but whole dev team collapsed so fast.

Let's wait and see what will happen.

They really need keep minds alike and figure things out asap.

I believe its full speed ahead still. I read a comment by IronTaxi somewhere saying to expect an update soon. The critical issue will be as to whether Merlin decides to walk away with the code (which he is legally allowed to do).
